⇀ Kithood

Windkit was born to Oakdapple and Tigertuft of Shoreclan. She arrived alongside Shadowkit and Mistkit, of whom didn’t survive. Her mother fussed over her and her surviving brother, wanting to make up for the loss of Mistkit. Oakdapple occasionally argued with Tigertuft, but nothing bad should’ve happened. However, of course things went wrong. One day they all awoke to find that Tigertuft had left them both, not to be seen again. Nothing else exciting really happened, at some point Oakdapple gave her and Shadowkit both blue feathers, reminding her of Mistkit, and she kept it safe behind her left ear. The excitement of their upcoming apprenticeship had both kits antsy and excited.

A new apprentice, Windpaw felt ready and prepared to do anything her mentor asked of her. Of course, she was a little faster than the rest and found herself loving to run, but that didn’t stop her involvement in other activities.
