cascade is the current queen of the northern pacific palace. she was born a mermaid hybrid, hence her fins for ears and ability to breathe underwater, but her tail was replaced with legs not long after birth. it's a royal tradition started from when her family bloodline came into rule. it's necessary for the hier/hieress to have legs in place of a tail to make amends with the humans and possibly promote business between sea and land. she's still able to swim as fluently underwater as a fish. since she's the newest queen, she's yet to gain her own golden weapon mended to her liking. her mother had a trident, but she wants a more complex weapon than a "giant fork".
