Short Backstory:: Mary was born into a practically royal familly. They were celebs since her mom was a shiny azumarill and more importantly, her father was a shiny 6iv ditto. They lived in a huge mansion. However, her parents and their friends were shocked when it turned out that Mary just wasn't shiny. Her parents royal/celebrity friends were disgusted by her, but her parents tried not to see her any different. She grew up a glamourous life with balls and fancy clothes, but she was different. She was bullied alot at her prep school for not being shiy or special like her very well-known parents. She just tried to turn the other cheek as much as she could. Her parents were very kind to her, though secretly worried about her reputation. She learned manners, how to look, how to act, and so on. However, to her, these balls and such seemed to get boring. It was all so repetitive. She always was attracted to their giganic garden. She loved all the colors and trying to figure out the types of flowers. She wanted to explore  on her on someday, but that was not allowed. SHe loved her family, but she started to grow a distaste for all the other celebs and royals. They were so stuck up. "Oh, I am a 4 iv phione. I am sure you are so ovejoyyed to get to meet me." She started to sometimes sneak off at night to escape her life and explore. She'd climb out the window and only be gone for an hour or so. She loved to explore the city and the alleys and the small towns, all the things she'd never seen before! She ended up meetinga good friend Cleo, who is a Keckleon. He was shy and kind and felt alone like she was. He was genuine, not deceptive or theiving like her peers always said. However, one night, her mom caught her sneaking back in and was infuriated. She said she tarnished their good name, and someone in such high standing as her can't just sneak out like that. WHen she heard about Cleo, she was disgusted. She said they would steal their fame and fortune and that they were good for nothing. This infuriated her. She still snuck out but was more sneaky about it. When she was 18, she moved out. It was against her mothers wishes but her father allowed her too since he never really spent to much time with her and cared more about their reputation. She is now living in a studio apartment with her bff Cleo. SHe wants to explore and see the world!
