Cosmo is a space critter from another galaxy that stows away aboard vessels that happen to be in close proximity to its current location. It learns quickly and has even befriended many species capable of space travel.
For those that know of Cosmo, they are like a good omen. If you happen to find Cosmo during your space travels, you are considered to expect good fortune to follow shortly after.
Cosmo behaves much like a house cat. While they are highly intelligent, they don't like putting that intelligence to use. They prefer to do silly things, oftentimes landing themselves in trouble.
Their head appears to be mostly organic - but only because it is enclosed in an apparatus. Its tail isn't solid and seems to slightly shift hues and has a subtle sparkly sheen to it. If its head apparatus were to come off, its head would look the same as its tail. Same with its body.
