A person of deep emotions that she hides, hidden underneath powerful emotions she puts on display. She struggles to express how she really feels, as she constantly struggles to keep up with the demands of the people around her. Being of slightly elevated blood herself, she is trusted with some of the more important matters, and enjoys to brag about how important she is to the functioning of the city. She knows a bit of her sister's secret power, but knowing the risk it carries has kept it to herself.

Her very birth was a miracle to some degree, as her mother had complications arrive shortly before she was expected, and most professionals agreed that it would probably take the life of both mother and daughter. However her father was so determine to have a child that he refused any procedure that might save the mother at the risk of the child. The day arrived, and Anaiel was born without any issue, however she was also born alongside an unexpected sister, Sophia. Twins had not been expected, but they had assumed it must have just been missed by their instruments.

The two grew up fairly well, and got along well. Their was little contest as their parents doted on them without any concern for the excess, though they came to find that Sophia was odd. Her hair had grown out white, despite the families namesake being their golden blonde hair. None of her features matched that of Anaiel whom was her supposed twin, or even her parents. Yet the father kept any concerns shushed, and life continued.

However there was an incident at the age of 14, Anaiel had been trying to sneak out to meet up with some of her friends. She soared off, sure she could move fast enough to not be seen, and she wasn't. However she didn't see the overhand of a building in the night, and at high speed collided. It shattered her right wing, and as she fell she damaged the nerves in her arm, causing her to lose all sensation. A crying and whimpering mess she crawled back home, desperate and bleeding.

As she made it back home, she found her sister out on the ground, who quickly rushed to her side. She angrily demanded that she get help, but didn't expect what came next. The gentle glow of Sophia's wings, a glowing halo behind her head as magic gently flowed over her body. It didn't just stop the bleeding, bones reformed, and nerves regrew. In but a few moments, her body had been completly restored, even a few scratches from the past few months were gone. She looked at her sister in awe, and knew that no one could ever know what had happened.
