Body Structure/Particular features: Fynch is a lightweight canine with multicolored eyes and a piercing gaze. Her fur is short and coarse and somewhat water resistant. Her bite force is very strong, and gifted with titanium canines from her former police force to assure her teeth did not wear down or chip at the nerve

Personality:

Kind l Well intentioned l Helpful l Loyal l Fearless

Fynch is a very open dog with a very open heart. She loves to meet new dogs, but is attracted to those with an overall positive attitude. Due to this, she more of the ‘nice’ type of dog you would find at Vry. Her helpful and well intentioned habits of being friendly, and helping where she can, coming from her former home at the police force, thus it was a habit drilled into her head since a pup. Fynch is still rather young, so she can be considered as the energetic, or at least, jumpy type. At some points she finds it difficult to stand still and do nothing. Noting this, she’s a very active dog wanting to put her energy into a good cause. Aside from all of this, Fynch is also the extremely loyal type, she will fight until the bitter end for those she holds in high regard, and those too unfit or too young to fight for themselves. She’s not the type of dog to back down unless she determines there is no more threat. This being said, Fynch is a very determined girl and very fearless as well. In the forces she was taught that there is no room for fear in the moment of action. She believes all emotions should be put aside when carrying out a plan. Because of this, Fynch is very cool under pressure and does not give out. She clears her mind and thinks more about the goal in question rather than the injury or fear it may take to get there.

Helpful - Fynch enjoys helping others out, no matter what the cost.

Loyal - Fynch is very loyal to those she holds in high regards.

Lightweight- Easy to push around physically in battle

No Opinion- She works solely off of the orders from higher-ups

Submissive- No matter what the order from higher-ups, she will do it.

Poor personal judgement- She finds difficulty trusting her own ideas due to the fact she’s only followed orders.

Follower- A better listener than an instructor, cannot lead.

Naive- Respects higher-ups with no judgement.

Emotions bottle up- She doesn’t vent her feelings or opinion in fear of discipline

Pre-group history:

-Pup-

Fynch had come from a local breeding business in a city not too far off from the Vryheid’s pack headquarters. Of course she grew up naive to what exactly was going on in the sewers, and instead had lived her puppyhood as a police pup in training. Her puppyhood was quiet and not all that much had happened aside from meeting her life long partner, and man in his mid 30’s by the name of Daniel. Little did she know at this young point in her life that this would be her best friend until the bitter end.

-Young Adult-

As a young member of the police force, she tended to be relied on for her young and keen sense of smell, and her energetic and mobile manner. Fynch was a very obedient pup, doing as she’s told the moment of it. She was quick in reaction and was held in high regard for it- however obviously wasn’t the most powerful, fast, or smartest dog in the force. She had room for improvement as they all did. Aside from this her handler and best friend was highly comfortable with her as a partner and they worked alongside very well without clashing- which was very important. As the force required smooth missions.

-Before The Accident-

Life was great. Fynch enjoyed every second of her job, and every second off duty with Daniel- stopping off at the coffee shop they always went to, she’d get a plain donut, he’d get his coffee- they’d go home and live normal lives. Fynch would play with him in the backyard, chasing the same destroyed baseball she’d had since a pup. They’d relax inside, or go to the pond at the park near their house. When it was snowy, she’d hop along the snow covered yard, chasing the specks and clumps of snow she’d launched with her leaping- all to hear the amused laugh of her partner from the wooden porch behind their small home. He’d lean against the railing, peering down at her with loving eyes.

-The Day-

The day she lost it all was one she won’t ever stop grieving. It was a beautiful day, the sky was clear of clouds and the sky was happily bright. The pair had been sent off home for the weekend, and were off duty when they had received a message of caution. The two had just finished with their treats at the coffee shop when a assertive voice came over the radio- caution evident in their voice. Fynch did not understand the statement of “Officer Barker, Shooting on Elm st- stay away until dealt with-over” followed by a bunch of officer’s last names and orders at the scene- however she could decipher the slightest amount of fear in his tone. Fynch had scanned her partner’s face for any evident signs of orders before slipping forward and nearly off the seat of Daniel’s old impala as he slammed it into park out of sudden panic. Fynch peered over the dash from standing on the rubber floor mat in attempt to see what he was seeing.

Several stopped cars littered the street, some with doors flung open, and some parked on an angle. But there was a lot of blood, and a few bodies scattered about randomly. She’d never witnessed such a massacre before, thus she waited intently for Daniels orders. But all he did was exit the car with his hands in the air as the evil man had ordered. Fynch grew noticeably lost due to lack of instruction, however took the next possible moment to jump out the passenger window as the mass murderer’s attention was fixed on Daniel.

She rounded the car skillfully, using a random two-door as protection from the cruel man’s vision

My paws softly clicked against the pavement, my simple harness jingling, but barely audible. I padded and pushed forwards, attempting to get a better angle of the situation. The man in question had what seemed to be a pistol, a gun all the same- deadly. I recalled the training I was stressed through my entire life. A weapon meant disarm. That was my duty, that was my job. I took in the assaulter's features, he looked to be a light weight man, possibly mentally unstable judging by his shaky hands. He notably hasn’t had this experience before and was troubled. But he was dangerous. He needed to be taken down, and I am going to be the dog to do it.

Trotting closer, yet still behind the cars, I peeked around them every so often, keeping an eye on the man before assuming position to his right, shielded by a silver SUV with rust growing at the edges. I had a clear view of him, and a clear view of Daniel who stood hopefully with his hands raised at the mercy of the man with the pistol. I had to do it.

I lunged forward with much force, taking off into a flying leap as I was in a car length’s reach of him. Then I heard it- the deafening BANG as I latched firmly onto the light weight man’s weapon arm. My ears were ringing- I swear I had gone deaf for that moment. The man’s steps faltered as her staggered as the gun was released from his clutches. I didn’t release right away, sinking my teeth painfully deep as a sort of discipline for killing the handful of people he did- then I released. He cowered to the brick wall of a shop for lease behind him, clutching his arm in agony while sobbing very heavily.

It wasn’t until after disarming him did I realize my Daniel on the ground lying on his side in distress. I approached him with care after carefully picking the gun up and bringing it to him. As I got closer It became more apparent what had happened.. A small pool of blood had formed under his stiff body- I could see his mouth moving, but I couldn’t make out the words at all. My ears keep ringing from the fatal gunshot. His final words were ones that could not reach my ears- but words that I will always cherish.

Pressing my nose to his face, I lightly lapped at his tear stained cheek. I watched as my Daniel’s body finally relaxed, and his eyes finally rested shut.

I couldn’t bare to return to the forces knowing I wouldn’t have his brave soul by my side- So I snuck off shortly after the police and ambulances had arrived- But not after taking a final glance at his now covered and retreating form being taken into the emergency vehicle.

“You’re a good pup, Fynch”
