Atheri is a strong willed naga, and Liani's older sister. She's cynical, pessimistic, and can come off as cold, but that's just a result of how responsible she feels she needs to be. Her and Liani's parents died when they were young, and she had to step up to take care of the two of them as a result of it. She's slow to open up to people, viewing herself as not needing others, but with her sister's pushing, she tried to get close to a few others. With those people, she is open and much warmer, albeit awkward. She finds herself very protective of them as well.
She has issues with trust, and thus tries to do things herself more often than not- feeling that she is the best fit to lead things as she was used to such. This is something that occurs even when objectively, she is not the best fit for leader, but the idea of following scares her. She's trying to mellow out, but progress has been slow.
She realized she was trans relatively recently, and has had to unpack some things about herself as a result- such as how the responsibility she felt she had to take interacted with how she identified at the time, and even what her parents would think of her now.
Additional Info:
- Her tail is very long, being 14 feet.
- Liani and her's parents were killed by humans, but she hasn't told the truth of their death to Liani yet.
