Durion’s personality is closed off and unwelcoming to most everything and everyone. He has no interest at all in idle chatter and rarely ever answers questions about himself, his people or anything else really. He ignores most people, simply indicating, shrugging, or giving one word answers and nothing more. When he strings a sentence together or has an actual conversation, many would liken that to a miracle. No one can really guess what the dark-skinned man is thinking and he has enough barriers to keep most anyone out of his head. Leave him to do his work and he is more than satisfied, and will often follow whatever direction he is given, but he can also be rather stubborn things as well. Some people in the past has made his quietness a game. To see who gets him to speak first for that day if he speaks at all, how many times they get him to speak and how many words. The man simply pays it no mind and does what he wishes. Where he is often appearing cold and aloof, he is not necessarily a cruel creature.

Just like his words, his past is little known to others. All there is is speculation and assumptions. With the way he often acts, many believe he ran away from home, while others think he was removed for some reason while others believe that wherever he was from was attacked. Durion merely lets them speculate, neither agreeing or denying anything that is asked of him and showing no hint of what is true.
He is in fact a half indeed a high-born elf, half drow, part of an illicit affair that turned out badly for both factions. Disagreement’s, fights and many other unpleasant things, the man finally left it all behind to do as he pleased. He does occasionally return home to give a silent greeting to his mother, who gives him her affection despite the trouble his birth has caused.
As of late wolves have given birth, and one of the pups has taken to following him around. He often acts annoyed of such a fact, but if he believes no one is looking, he can often be found petting, feeding, and has even had the wolf pup on his lap.
