Notes for when I actually feel like writing a bio and have finalized some bits about his character

• His village was raided by avian pirates when he was a teenager-ish and he was captured/sold. Don't know exactly how he lost his arm/got all those scars but??? it happened when he was being held by the avian pirates. Maybe they avian pirates had a sort of gladiator ring where they had the captured people kill eachother for entertainment? idk.
• Was rescued by one of the avian pirates. That particularly pirate saw what was going on and was disgusted by it. She broke aya and a couple other prisoners out and left the band of pirates herself as well. Most of the prisoners went their own way, but aya decided to stay with pirate woman. (They had built an odd or sort of friendship over the past couple months before the woman broke him out).... now they both work as the bodyguards of a traveling merchant caravan. 
• Kinda quiet/aloof. Looks pissed off 80% of the time but mostly he just has a resting bitch face and doesn't know what to do with his emotions. He's actually surprisingly calm/patient. He's bad with words, but always tries to make sure he isn't misunderstood or hurting someones feelings accidentally. If he's ever actually pissed, it's usually at himself lmao.
• He and Ssaorun dated for a bit?? But it didn't really work and they decided they like being together more as close friends. They still hang out a lot and look out for eachother.  Still idk about how he and ssaorun actually meet.
• He has a prosthetic... i was just too lazy to draw it, will draw later lol.
