An enthusiastic geographer, Lysander Willoughby is a sophisticated fellow. Hailing from an upper-class background, he was able to discover his love of sailing and the sea from an early age. Now he travels a lot, brings back some trinkets as souvenirs, and spends his time trying to make accurate maps—well, as accurate as possible for the 19th century world. He can be a bit of a smart-aleck and seems to take pleasure in pushing people's buttons … and being the smartest person in the room. He rarely has any ill will when he's sparking a debate, but that doesn't mean he can't come off as a little haughty sometimes. Despite his ways, Lysander is always willing to lend a hand and share his knowledge wherever it may help, maybe even if it doesn't help. And for what it's worth, he usually asks before smoking in front of others, so maybe he has more manners than his attitude (while arguing) makes it seem.
