Queen Lanse Ern of the Silkern Kingdom is a very kindhearted woman who has very liberal and open minded ideals despite her growing age. She has a fair sense of humor and is extremely connected with her people due to her kingdom's small size. Lanse is willing to do anything for her people and is not ashamed of bowing her head to greater forces to keep her people safe.

Her predecessor was her father, King Malachai who taught Lanse that a kingdom as weak as the Silkern Kingdom had to go with the flow of stronger nations to avoid being trampled. Despite the Silkern Kingdom's initial loyalty to the Enzo Kingdom, when Lanse became Queen, she took the Empire's side- seeing a future where they ruled and spared only their allies.
