Natsuku has forgotten what he used to hold dear, he feels like what he yearns for is just out of reach. Poppy flowers symbolize rememberance of those who have been lost, but how do you know you've lost someone when you cant even remember them? Natsuku searches for someone who's face he cannot see, and voice he cannot hear. He follows his heart, since he knows it'll lead him home.
