traits: Jimin is soft, pure, and wholesome. He does his best not to let his anxiety and depression get the best of him, but like anyone who struggles with it, he still has his bad days. But he tries his best to make it through them, finding solace in helping other equines in whatever way he can. Whether is be by being a friend, a shoulder to cry on, or helping them with some task or another. He is very helpful and gentle and kind. He doesn't raise his voice often, not liking to shout at others, but when he does get angry, he tends to cry which makes arguments difficult for him because if someone starts yelling at him and he get angry and frustrated, he just starts to cry and can't always say anything back. He does not like to cry in front of others as well, so being someone who gets upset so easily makes him annoyed with himself. He knows that crying doesn't make him weak, and he doesn't see himself as weak, he just gets kind of embarrassed when he cries in front of others. He doesn't want others to see him as weak. He knows many already consider him to be weak because of his size and the fact that he's a pony. Jimin actually likes his size, honestly, and doesn't want to be any taller. He likes being smaller than most other equines.

history: Jimin grew up in a small, close-knit herd. His mother absolutely adored him and would have spoiled him rotten had it not been for his father. Jimin's father believed more in "tough love," but that wasn't to say that he didn't have his soft moments with Jimin as well, but it was Jimin's mother that tended to coddle him. His father wanted him to train with the warriors of the herd and become a fighter. His mother insisted that Jimin had a gentle heart and was more well-suited for the healers. Jimin did his best to make the both of them happy, doing double training with both groups. It was stressful and he was exhausted all of the time. Honestly, he knew that his mother was right. He was much more of a healer than a fighter. He did not enjoy training with the warriors nearly as much as he enjoyed learning about how to heal and help others. His father was disappointed, blaming Jimin's mother for making the boy soft. Jimin tried to confront his father, tried to explain that he wasn't soft he just... didn't enjoy hurting other horses. But his father ended up yelling at him, and Jimin, like always, ended up crying. He ran off that day, determined to never return, but his mother tracked him down and convinced him to come back to the herd. Reluctantly, Jimin agreed. His father never apologized. Jimin continued with his double training, trying to master both skills, but the harder he worked, the more exhausted and stressed he became. After his third birthday, Jimin decided that was enough was enough and he ran away again. Only this time, when his mother came looking for him again, he refused to return with her. He refused to return home to a father that was never happy with him. He wanted to find a new place to live, somewhere where he was accepted instead of shouted at for doing what he wanted to do. His mother finally let him go. It was a bittersweet goodbye.
