Virgil

Virgil is a bright pink jet combiner. He grew up unaffiliated, and had a daughter (Bright Light) with an Autobot named Myriad. Bright Light moved out at 20 and is living on her own. Shortly afterward, Sentinel Prime was assassinated. When transformation cogs were returned to all Cybertronians, Virgil discovered his vehicle mode: a propeller airplane (shown in image 2.) This presented mobility issues for Virgil, as his wings were malformed and his new wing joints caused terrible pain.

The third Cybertronian war began, and Virgil joined the Autobot military. He was allied with Lance (a fellow targetmaster) and they fought together for six months, using their combining powers to strengthen one another. After the first few months, he suffered severe joint and cable pain from excessive use of his plane form, having received little flight training beforehand. Carrying heavy loads caused him to overexert his wings and engine for long periods of time.

Virgil became extremely disturbed by the things he saw while serving, and started to become aggressive among his peers. He was requested to return home, but refused, insisting to continue. One day, Virgil had a crash landing and was forced to return home. Lance continued to serve in the military. After witnessing massive violence and torture at the hands of Autobots, Virgil had his Autobot sigil removed and entered solitude. After a time of reflection he made some new Decepticon friends- the Archangels- who comforted him and encouraged him to break up with Lance. Virgil is currently having his armor redone and his vehicle changed to a jet, in hopes of alleviating his pain and flying freely. He's definitely over Lance. Whatever stroke of luck decided his new paint would end up including Lance's yellow and the pink of Lance's crest decoration is one of life's greatest mysteries.
