Combust

Combust is a Kitsune, one of thirteen created to watch over Saturnia for evil and danger and alert the Sentinels to it. Combust is the Flame Kitsune, aligned under Fire and appointed by Kalalika. Their true resting spot is within Spice Peak. They are predominately red with sooty markings on their paws and face, fiery patterns around their eyes back and tail and a mane of fire.

As a Kitsune, they can grant a wish if someone finds them (often by solving a mystery or riddle) and if they are of a pure heart. If they desire, they can grant additional boons. They can also summon glowing orbs of “foxfire”. They can read creatures’ hearts, so they can see if their finder is of pure heart. They can shapeshift if necessary but, as they find it uncomfortable and that they don’t often leave their hiding places, they don’t often.
