An energetic traveler and author from Nimbus! Opal tries her best to keep an optimistic outlook on things and to be a strong role model as the team’s leader. She takes a lot of pride in his writing endeavors and has an immense interest in travel, finding joy in exploring all sorts of places around the world.
While overall peppy and supportive of those around her, she never seems to give herself a break even when she’s at her limit, and finds it difficult to open up about her much deeper troubles if you don’t have her complete trust. He’s a little doubtful about guiding the team, especially since she gets very caught up in being the perfect leader, but her teammates trust in her and her leadership wholeheartedly.

She is 5'0 in height with a confident posture and a bright can-do attitude.
Opal was previously a cleric and a warrior, although is now in the Princess Class. She can be drawn in any in-game class outfits of the three, but preferably the Hero Gown or the Valkyrie Gown.
His fashion style ranges from lazy casual clothing to lots of cutesy dresses and she usually always carries Theikahs Charm (the necklace) with her, despite not liking jewelry very much. Both fem and masc clothes are okay, but fem is preferred!

Greatest Strength
He’s highly resourceful, and almost creative in that sense as well. She often thinks outside the box so she’s able to come up with strange plans on the spot very well. Most of the time they seem to work.
Greatest Weakness
Opal can get highly focused sometimes, so she fails to notice things in other areas sometimes. It's especially prominent if there are multiple enemies in battle, since she accidentally leaves a lot of weak spots open.
Combat / Battle
Opal has very good reflexes and is quick to think on the spot, but she can be thrown off easily and usually appears vulnerable.
Writing
Opal's favorite hobby. She loves to brainstorm random plotlines, even if they don't end up going anywhere.
Dancing
Dancing is a fun pasttime to her though and it aids in battle at times too such as when she's using her Regal Dance skill, even if she's not expert-level
Positive Traits
She is a very uplifting and bright leader who knows just what to say to bring someone up, so many of her peers find her very dependable and easy to rely on. Opal is very selfless in that regard and won't turn away almost anyone in need of help, so you can always go to her.

Opal can be very idealistic and headstrong. He dreams big and does not give up. She usually gets a lot done, and most of the time this works out just right for her. Sometimes she moves forward faster than she is capable of though, and makes a lot of mistakes along the way.
Negative Traits
He hardly relies on others and thus takes and carries every burden on her back without telling a soul because she thinks it makes her a strong leader. This results in bottling all her unpleasant feelings or thoughts, so she secretly feels burned out all the time.

Opal's loved ones hold a very positive view on her. They respect him a lot and despite having seen her secretly vulnerable side- think she's a very strong person.
Strangers
Opal's demeanor gives off a sense of confidence and assertiveness at first glance. Given this, most strangers tend to admire her or find her annoying and immature.
Enemies
Her enemies see her as incompetent. They usually look down on her since she's very young or because of how she's prone to mistakes
Opal was born in the remote areas of Nimbus and grew up with her mother, father, and her older sibling Lani. Both parents were highly engrossed with their work- always going on business trips, always stressed and never spending time with their kids. Opal was also the less favored between the two children, so on top of being neglected he often faced a lot of criticism for not being the golden child like Lani.
Opal tried to appeal to them, but everytime he tried sharing something he was proud of, there was nothing but nitpicking. Even when it came to struggles-- she couldn't trust them with opening up. The only time they even bothered to care was when they asked for help and she did as they asked, but even then that wasn't much. Eventually Opal shut off any attempt at pleasing them and hardly shared any of her successes or worries with them, growing heavily insecure of himself. Her relationship with Lani was fairly strong of course, but Opal feels guilt sometimes for how much they try to hype her up, part of it feeling ingenuine. This is mostly where Opal learned to bottle herself up for others.
As he grew older, Opal started to grow a bit self-reliant and independent. She got into writing as a form of escapism from her daily life, from diary entries to random plotlines that filled her head. She loved to do it, and after graduating, she decided to become an author. All she wanted to do was write and write, coming up with stories she could write to home about.
Knowing her parents would never accept her becoming an author though- she planned to disguise it as taking an adventure around the world- broadening her horizons while hoping to maybe find something along the way to spark an idea for her novels. She thought it'd also do some good to finally get out of that stuffy and miserable house. With a newfound hope, she took off with a skip in her step, completely unaware of what story was about to unfold right before her eyes.
Author's Note: The actual plot of her story is far too long to only write here, so I will be uploading a literature with the entire plot summary at some point in the near future! Please be patient for it's release :D
After the events of the story, Opal has decided to continue traveling the world, pursuing more adventures and see more sights, not wanting to stay in one place only. She also compiled all her journal entries from all her time to save the world, and published it as a book titled "Oryktopia". He does move in with Dar Eckstein into a home at the Travelers' Hub in an attempt for the both of them to stay far from Nimbus. When she's not out adventuring, she works together with Dar to write children's books with Dar as her illustrator.

∙ Dar likes to draw people a lot, but his favorite person to draw is Opal. Look through his sketchbooks and you'll likely find tiny doodles to full pages of her, all with hearts scribbled around them..
∙ Sometimes Dar will squeeze Opal's hand as a signal that he's stressed, and Opal will try her best to weasle their way out of whatever situation they’re in so she can be there for him more privately, which is usually just a barrage of kisses and whatever kind of comfort he ends up needing at the time
∙ These two stay up incredibly late working on their own little projects and talking together. Usually Opal falls asleep first since she can’t stay up as long as Dar can, so Dar has gotten used to having to grab a blanket for her and sometimes gives her a kiss on the forehead before going back to whatever he’s working on.
∙ Being the kind of person to probably hug plushies to sleep, Opal obviously clings onto Dar when they go to bed. Dar is surprised the first time around, but actually ends up finding it adorable.
∙ Opal often comes to Dar when she's overwhelmed just to have his company, since watching him draw and hearing his voice often calms her down incredibly easily.
∙ While Opal is big on pet names, Dar only saves them for more intimate moments, which never fails to make Opal practically combust on the spot when he does use them
∙ MOVIE/GAME NIGHTS!! ….if only they both didn’t spend hours browsing through all of their choices being indecisive as hell, only to choose the exact same things they always resort to watching/playing... Not that either of them really mind that though.
∙ ^^^ with gaming nights though, they’re both actually surprisingly competitive when it comes to video games. They both make little bets on what the loser has to do, but neither of them mind it since it’s always just something affectionate. Doesn’t stop either of them from trying to win though—
∙ These two have a combo move they came up with together combining the scientists Ignite with the princess’s Ultimate Wave that they've been trying their best to perfect, and when they finally did they were both absolutely ecstatic about it. Opal probably didn’t shut up about how proud she was for a week probably
∙ After defeating a monster together, Opal always rushes to hug Dar and the two just sort of hold on to each other happily praising and gushing about how awesome the other was in battle
∙ They definitely both go out to explore every now and then since even after the adventure, Opal still holds a passion for travel. Dar doesn’t mind since well- he would probably follow Opal to the ends of the Earth anyways
∙ Speaking of travel though, since Opals traveled to many different places that Dar hadn’t seen before since he kind of got taken away for that short bit in Neksdor Opal definitely brings him to the most gorgeous spots she’d been to like Lotus Lake and such for their dates
∙ Opal loves just holding Dar and lifting him up into the air or carrying him bridal style and spinning around. She’s strong enough to do it of course, and while embarrassed enough to not admit to it, Dar actually loves when she does this.
∙ Dar can’t dance very well but Opal definitely can, which eventually leads to an embarrassing yet sweet moment alone together of Opal trying to teach Dar how to dance…
∙ Dar also cannot cook for the life of himself, compared to Opal who’s been mostly self sufficient all her life in that regard. He’d probably try to surprise her by cooking something even she’s never made before, but Opal would just return to an absolute mess in the kitchen. He probably felt awful about it afterwards for being a screw up but Opal reassures him that it’s fine and offers to try again and learn it together with him.
∙ Youd think for someone who so confidently dishes out affection like it’s nothing, that Opal would be able to take it as well. But no, Opals a mess every time Dar does anything of the sort, especially physically. In the rare instances he does initiate these things like kisses and chaste gestures, these moments are always so incredibly drawn out and loving, and Opal can’t help but absolutely melt into his touch each time.
∙ While Dar’s affection is more intimate and soft, Opals usual affection is a lot more quick and fleeting, something that’d likely make your heart skip a beat. Which is mostly because she’s so sporadic, but also because the thought of initiating more intimate moments like Dar does herself makes her incredibly flustered.
∙ Opal loves to shower Dar in kisses frequently. Just quick little pecks at the most random moments whenever she possibly can. She always loves seeing the surprised look on his face each time too.
∙ Dar already smiles a lot around Opal, but every time she does something that leaves him in awe or admiring her, which is extremely often he just has this incredibly soft look of complete adoration on his face that just makes Opals heart burst
∙ Being the hopeless romantic that she is, Opals such an incredibly big sap. Almost sickeningly so. In their softer moments together, she can’t help but say the same old mushy things she always does about how much she loves him and how happy he makes her.. but honestly it always makes Dar happy to hear, especially given that he’s the kind to worry about not being good enough for her, the constant reassurement means everything to him
∙ Dar also tends to do the same, as he gets more comfortable around Opal he tends to talk a lot more about how much he loves her and all the little things he admires about her and the two of them just get so caught up in the moment to the point where they just forget everything around them
∙ Bonus: Dar definitely takes Opals last name when they get married

∙ She's relatively good at drawing, but considers it more of a little comfort hobby than something she wanted to make into a big thing. She likes ink work in particular.
∙ Given he's been writing ever since he was young, Opal probably wrote some very bad and cringy fanfiction or stories as a kid. She probably tore them up in her tween years out of embarrassment, but growing older now she kinda regrets that she lost her earliest works.
∙ She does it anyways at times, but she hates wearing anything extra or unnecessary like jewelry or makeup or tighter clothing because of his sensory issues (he hates the physical sensation it gives him)
∙ He doesn't worry about how he dresses in front of others despite being really insecure about herself otherwise, wearing pretty much anything casual and airy because it feels comfortable and it doesn't take much effort to put on and get out of. Also because he'd get sad if her fancy pretty clothes got all messed up.
∙ Opal's a little mediocore when it comes to cooking and feels a bit distraught about it, only being able to cook or make some dishes that dont require much effort but also isn't like a basic untoasted white bread ham sandwich. Fortunately for her, she got to stroke her ego when it came to Neksdor because all of her teammates there were either on par or couldn't even flip an egg at the time.
