Rosa possesses standard Era 1 Gem abilities (includes bubbling, shapeshifting, fusion, regeneration, agelessness, and superhuman strength/durability). Because she's a Star Gem, she is more powerful then normal Rose Quartz. More info about her fusions can be found on Fusions section.

• Enhanced Condition: Like other Star Gems, Rosa possess the peek conditions of her gem type/kind meaning that she is more smarter and more powerful then normal Rose Quartz.
• (Star/Comet) Spin Dash: Like most of quartzes, Rosa can rapidly roll into a ball-like shape to attack enemies. Biggest difference with her spin dash is that there seens to be stars when she spins. Comet Spin Dash is air lauchable version of Rosa's Star Spin Dash.
• Enhanced Bubbling Powers: Like some of Rose Quartzes, Rosa can use her containment bubbles in many various ways similar to Steven.
• Speed of Descent Regulation: Like most of Rose Quartzes, Rosa can alter her gravity, allowing her to control the speed of her ascent and descent.
• Love Augmentation: Rosa is able to augment love of others. She can make others fall in love into herself or someone that she chooses.
• Love Inducement: Rosa is able to induce the emotion of love to others.
• True Love's Kiss: Rosa is able to perform miracles through kiss of true love. This ability is very exhausting to use so every time she uses it, Rosa will poof. Rosa also needs to truelly love the kissable person/being for kiss to actually work.

• Gemstone: Rosa's gemstone really is only physical part of her body (her body is actually hard holograph projection) like all of gems (minus the hybrids). This means that she suffers if the gem cracks. This also means if some strong force destroys her gemstone, she's gone.

Rosa really hates Rose Quartz and wants to her suffer before her shattering. Because Rose shattered her diamond, Pink Diamond. And expecially for dooming the other Rose Quartzes for either to be bubbled in Pink Diamond's human zoo or be shattered because one of them destroyed one of Diamonds. She even doesn't consider Rose as one of Rose Quartzes anymore and calls Rose disrespecful name like Traitor and Weed.

Rosa loved, adored and respected Pink Diamond as like other Rose Quartzes, she was created/made by her. Rosa was absolutely crushed when Pink was shattered. Rosa is still loyal for her Diamond and the reason she wants to destroy Rose Quartz is to avenge for her Diamond.

Despite them being Rose's troops and friends, Rosa really doesn't give a hoot about Crystal Gems. With Pearl being exception of that.
