Flaretalon will often be very straightforward with what he has to say, believing it's the fastest and most effective way to get his point of view or what he has to say across without having it getting mistaken for anything else.

Flaretalon believes that wrong doers get what they deserve. Even if that means someone who has wronged him or someone he cares about, he might have to do something to give them what they deserve. Hurt his friends or family, you better pray.

Flarekit became Flarepaw, and Sunkit became Sunpaw. Their mentors were both siblings too, so they would usually train together. It became fairly obvious that Flarepaw was a quick learner, and was getting way ahead of his sibling. Whenever he tried to help Sunpaw get a training technique down though, Flarepaw would fail horribly.

As the training continue their parents broke up, and Flarepaw found he wasn't too upset about it- after all he saw it coming since his kithood. Sunpaw was completely upset though and Flarepaw was angry that they upset his brother. So late one night, when they were both out on patrol, he snuck into the warriors den and put burrs in their nest, wishing he could put bile or something but knowing that the other warriors would smell it if he did.

Hearing their surprising and annoyed cries the next morning was worth it.

Afterwards, training continued as normal, as the two toms soon got their warrior names.

He earned the name Flaretalon, for his skills in fighting, and his brother earned the name Sunheart for his strength of character. The two were still pretty close in their warrior days, but Flaretalon made sure that they slept well away from their 'parents'.

He was glad that both him and Sunheart didn't have to participate in the Hawk Fox battle, as he was afraid his brother would have lost his life there. That doesn't mean he doesn't hold a grudge against them though, and holds no qualms making fun of them for going through so many leaders.

The tom went out hunting with another warrior named Whitejaw. He got to know the other a bit during that hunting trip, but otherwise the hunting trip was quiet as can be.

Flaretalon decided to sneak up on Cherrytail and surprise her when she was sunning. After that was over the two talked for a bit before going their seperate ways.

Soon, strange creatures grabbed all the clan cats and put them in these metal dens- they were in them for many days as far as Flaretalon could tell, before they were finally able to get free because of some cat. The tom followed his clanmates to a moor like area, where Tigerpool, a molly of their clan, took charge. She claimed that Brackenbush was unfit to lead the clan, and Flaretalon agreed. Brackenbush had not helped them when they needed them most. He supported her in her decision to be leader, and her decision to change the clans name to Galeclan.

An hour or two later he saw Nettleheart get away from the clan and followed him, wondering whats up. They talked for a bit before Nettleheart convinced Flaretalon to tell Tigermoon to find someone else as deputy, perferably Flaretalon. Flaretalon knew the tom was trying to manipulate him, but saw no reason not to help his clanmate, so he went to Tigermoon anyway.

Tigermoon made him deputy despite his protests.

Flaretalon was named deputy without a student (that he knew of) and he had no idea what he was doing. The tom- in his eagerness not to mess up, starts over working himself to the bone, making sure things were ok.

He goes on a morning border patrol with Cherrytail, the molly he startled before. He wasn't as carefree as before, a bit stressed out, but soon the two were joking as the relaxed around each other. The two pondered about the weird structures in the distance and both came up with new nicknames for each other. Afterwards they finished the patrol and Cherrytail went back to sleep as Flaretalon stayed awake and continued his duties.

Flaretalon finally has some time to talk to his brother, and the tom lets a bit loose on how overworked he was. Though Sunhearts optimision was cheering him up a bit, and he couldn't help but promise himself to work even harder for his brother. (Ongoing)

Flaretalon sees Softpetal and Batcry come into camp, with Softpetal covered in wounds. The tom goes to confront them, along with a few warriors. Before either cat can say anything Tigermoon comes in and starts accusing Batcry, which leades the tom to confess he commited murder. Tigermoon exileds him, and asks Flaretalon to lead him off of Galeclan territory with another warrior. Flare choose Cherrytail and the two do their duty. They joke a bit before Cherry asks if Flare was ok. He replies that he was fine and lead them back to camp.
