agent 3 / captain.
Hydra, better known as 'Serpent' to most folks, is an inkling coming from all the way from Inkopolis to Splatsville where she currently lives with her partner, Camilla.
Originally recruited as agent 3 at the age of 14, she's been recently promoted to being Captain due to Cap'n Cuttlefish retiring. Now that she's been promoted, she helps with the new agent 3 in Alterna with Callie and Marie.
Outside of her captain duties, she often takes up turf wars to fuck around with her friends, or take part time jobs at salmon running. She's often a little busy, maybe a little bit of a workaholic. However she does tries to keep it down a notch and make time for her friends and Camilla.
Likes: street food, turf wars, a good nap tbh, beaches (surprisingly)
About
Coming from a rather small and quiet family, Hydra only came to Inkopolis to find something new, something more exciting then her quiet little neighborhood.
And she found just that, the day she followed Cap'n Cuttlefish into Octo Valley was the day she'd knew she's going in for quite a ride for the rest of her life.

Personality
Originally when she was 14, she was a lot more energetic, brash and loud, and determined to do anything she'd want. Definitely was more competitive in a lot of turf wars or ranked battles. However, as time passes by and working along side the Squidbeak Splatoon for a couple of years, Hydra has mellowed out a bit. Becoming more laid-back, a lot more nicer and often has a more casual, chill "older sister" energy. They definitely have a goofier side, and often like to pull silly tricks and pranks to make her friends laugh. She's kind of just the friend who's a little unhinged but loyal as all hell and would fight for you.
Sometimes, Hydra can be a little quiet and often times, spacing out and have her melocholic and moody days, mostly just deep-thinking or vivid daydreaming. She definitely masks this with a smile and often joke it off only because she doesn't want to be vulnerable most of the time and wouldn't want others to worry, especially when she already has a huge role as captain. Hydra cares more about the people she loves, and sometimes to forget about taking care of herself too, hence the workaholic bit of her life. Additionally, she tends to be very nostaglic about a lot of things in her life.

Current partner and long-time best friend, met in Inkopolis when they were both teens and stuck around with eachother since then.
Met during the events of Octo-Expansion, first impression kind of scared Valerie a bit due to the sanitization, but after that Valerie warmed up to Hydra a bit after she recovered.
They enable eachother sometimes, though during missions Hydra has to be the one keeping Mora on a (kiddie) leash.
