Profile
Urielle Tuulilkello is a veteran hailing from Eternala that now works as a sellsword.
Urielle wears clothes. (WIP)
Urielle is an outgoing and cheerful person, though she might be too inebriated to be much else. She talks between swigs of vodka and drinks as much as she breathes.
Between a broken soul and a drunken mask lies a violent and regretful individual, lashing out and blaming herself for death of her comrades any time she's sober. The person she used to be is lost. She has long forgotten, and everyone who knew has already passed.
Former flying ace from a battle erased from history to save the face of both sides. Eager to make a name for herself in the world, Urielle enlisted and was sent into combat. During then, her entire unit was wiped save for her. She sought to make one last stand before falling, but managed to break the encirclement and rout the remaining offensive force alone. For the enemy, she earned their fear. For her allies, she earned nothing, as her feats were only seen by dead eyes.
Urielle was accused of deserting her unit, but was only deemed unfit to serve and discharged due to the enemy's retreat. She continued to blame herself for their deaths, and sought something to sooth her sorrows, now relying on booze to make it all hazy. Though she can't see straight, let alone think straight, she prefers a headache over confronting what happened that day. Nowadays her days are either spent drinking or as a freelance, earning just enough to keep her afloat.
Seeking to free herself from her sorrows, she sought someone to blame for the death of her comrades and set her sights on Yomotsu's royal family, telling herself that killing them would avenge their deaths. Eventually finding a way into the royal domain and delivering her own idea of justice, she came out with blood-stained hands thinking she'd find solace in the death of the royal family, but there was nothing. She had wallowed in darkness for so long, she believed she was meant to die that day. With nothing left, she sought her own death.
Urielle received proper combat training from the Eternali Air Force, along with basic knowledge of and high resonance with Theurgic Arts, making her quite a capable fighter. The secret to her quick flying is a mix of finely controlled Arts that make flying both easier and faster, combining projection and controlling nearby ambient essence.
During her supposed "last moments", she resonated with what she thought was a Arts Conduit that led to the discovery of her current method of flying. When that happened, she could fly much faster than she could currently, and the way she flies now is just the muscle memory from that moment.
Though drunk in mind, she's still an ace in body and even though 3 years have past, there's nothing faster in the sky to take her title of "The Divine Wind".
Base Abilities
- Sub-Heaven Staircase | Walk Upon Stained Skies - Summons a violent tornado that launches targets high into the air.
- Wind Tunnel | Run Amongst Silent Winds - A pathway that blows strong headwinds that allow the user to quickly takeoff.
- Zoom Climb Tailwind | Fly, For You Live Freely - A technique for when the user is gliding or flying. It summons strong tailwinds that propel the user effortlessly, increasing their airspeed enough to about 500 km/h.
- Ilmarinala's Cyclone - A hidden technique only accessed by chanting a verse from Ilmarinala's teachings while simultaneously activating all techniques at once, as they're all derivatives of this one. Throws the target into the air with a powerful tornado, then creates the necessary environment for the user to reach subsonic speeds and use a weapon or other to hit the enemy with.
Special Abilities
- Inner Sanctum: Still At Angels Ten - A projected inner reflection of the user that connects them with the god they're aligned with. A mix of Urielle's cruelty and Ilmarinala's freedom births Still At Angels Ten, a space that stops the natural flow of air. Anything that moves in the space cannot be felt, nor can any sound be heard. Urielle usually holds the advantage, as the air can still be moved, but cannot move on its own.
- Poisonous Mist of Everyday - Creates a large field that gradually lowers the density of the surrounding air while making a passage of air for herself. Targets will eventually run out of breath and possibly suffocate.
- O2 Natural Explosive - Compresses a large amount of air into a small ball and fires it at a target. When it comes into contact with a surface, the air decompresses at once and creates a destructive explosion.
Delii
Urielle's coworker. Doesn't like her that much.
- Urielle has gone through quite a few name changes, starting with "Poca" and "Ariel".
- She used to be an angel in Fallen World's Requiem, but was changed to something more natural for the context of Lumen Essence.
- She is one of my oldest OCs, having been around since Fallen World's Requiem, Animisystem, and Lumen Essence.
