Amne is a Royal Queen of Spades (♤) Oto-Chro. His name comes from his owner's desire to have him remember only the good things and to forget all the bad. After a 24 hour period, Amne is programmed to forget any feeling that invoked feelings of "negativity" within him. Amne's full name makes him extremely uncomfortable due to the meaning, so it starts the cycle of forgetfulness within his programming. He keeps a secret diary referred to as his dream log in order to remember everything he has forgotten. But it all feels like a never-ending dream...
Although his name is registered as Amnesia, he is fondly referred to as Amne. His owner is a successful, eccentric artist who is out of touch with reality. Amne's owner often paints the ideal world within his mansion's walls. However, his idea of perfect frequently changes and so the insides of his residence becomes more and more incoherent. He sees Amne as the only one that understands him and finds him to be the most beautiful creation in the world. His only constant wish was that Amne was made by his own hands.
The memory wipes in his programming were not within his original conception. It was implanted by third-party methods by his owner.
