Bailey met J.C. on his adventures in the Johto region. The two became fast friends and traveled together through the region facing a number of challenges and encounters with Team Rocket. The defining moment that solidified their bond was when Bailey was forced to have to face his own past and the choices he made when he was a part of Team Plasma.
