I'll play the villain.

Noha Tsukatsu (制圧使波 Tsukātsu Nōha), also known as Rimocon (リモコン Rimokon), is a student at U.A. High School, training to become a Pro Hero.

Appearance

Noha is of average height, though shorter than most of his male classmates. He's not very muscular, and has a more average body type in comparison to most of his classmates as well, though he's not entirely weak and is somewhat toned. He has messy grey hair with darker grey layering underneath as well as 2 darker grey ahoges drooping onto his bangs. His irises are white and his pupils are a dark grey, and due to his quirk, his sclera are filled with moving static. Also due to his quirk, he has 2 TV antenna sticking out of his head. He has somewhat droopy eyes and strong, thick eyebrows. He's hardly ever seen without a smile on his face.

During school hours, Noha wears the U.A. school uniform, though he does not wear the standard tie with it, and also wears a black zip up hoodie underneath the blazer. For footwear he wears black skateboard shoes.

For his hero costume, Noha's base outfit is generic to the fit of most hero costumes; his top and bottoms match with similar style and rectangular shapes, but the top is a lighter grey than his pants. He also has a white belt and black gloves with white and grey decorations on them. His boots are a few inches lower than knee height, and have black fabric covers with colourbar designs on each outer-facing side. On top of it all, he wears a black cape with greyscale and more colourbar designs, which can be unbuttoned to be taken off.

Design Notes:
  • His antennae are nearly unbend-able, they hardly do more than bounce a little with Noha's movement, and shouldn't be drawn 'loose' or like insect antennae
  • His pupils are dark grey, not black
  • He is more pale than most BNHA characters, and also has visible circles under his eyes from lack of sleep
  • The static that fills his sclera is always moving, so if animated, it should be too
  • Due to lazyness, he is nowhere near as muscular as the main BNHA cast, though he's not frail either

Personality

Noha is a young man with a bad personality and even worse social skills. He rarely speaks to his other classmates, and takes pride in being able to creep them out, especially with a mind control quirk. While his quirk appears fairly strong, Noha himself is lazy and unmotivated to improve, and thus is likely to never become the best hero he can be. He tries to come off as cool and unbothered, but is usually losing it in his mind over the smallest things, and can be a bit of a control freak.

He often tries to act like he's the best of the best, but when talking with someone he admires, he easily becomes flustered and can be a bit of a fanboy. Noha thrives off of pissing his peers off and having them get in his face out of anger, he sees all of it as a victory. His hobbies include messing with small pieces of technology, browsing the internet, video games, and sketching.

Personality traits: Appears aloof and mysterious but usually losing his shit on the inside, intimidating, enjoys scaring others, control freak, lazy, smug, acts overconfident despite not being that confident in his abilities, domineering, intense, calm disposition from afar, obsessive, actually gets flustered pretty easily, curious, a bit of a romantic

Quirk

Noha's quirk, Remote Control, gives Noha the ability to alter the motor functions of his opponent with telekinesis as if he is using a TV remote. Noha can use these abilities on himself too, most notably the fast forward ability, since he has control over his own motor functions, it acts as an attack enhancer, allowing him to kick/punch/run/jump faster. However, despite his attacks being 'stronger' due to being enhanced speed-wise by his quirk, if his muscles are not trained to handle it, he will tire out quicker.

ABILITIES/ATTACKS:
  • Pause: freezes his opponent, they come to a complete stop physically, they're still completely conscious.
  • Rewind: reads the muscle movements and reverses the brainwave instances of his opponent, forcing them to move in reverse. can only do the last 30 seconds of their movement.
  • Fast Forward: causes his opponents to move in a quick and erratic way, based on possible outcomes of movement in their minds. (example: if Iida was idle, Noha would be able to tap into his brainwaves of possible techniques, if him boosting towards Noha quickly is a possible instance, he will lose control over this possibility and be forced into it, causing him to possibly trip or misjudge where he should end his run)
  • Mute/Volume control: Noha can change the volume of someones voice, even muting them completely by altering their brain signals sent to their vocal chords.
  • Record: Noha can force his opponents brain to remember specific things they've said. He can store up to 30 seconds of this in their brain for later use and bring it out later by manipulating their vocal chords memory.
QUIRK STRENGTHS:
  • Noha has good hand-to-hand combat skills, but usually not as good as others. His quirk works at a distance to keep opponents at bay.
  • Being able to use his quirk on himself creates several advantages for Noha. Enhancing his own speed being the most major one, he can outrun someone easily if needed.
  • For the most part, Noha has no telling signs of quirk usage, and can stealthily take control of his opponent.
  • He works great if he's paired up with someone with a more offensive quirk, being able to hold an opponent down for his teammate.
QUIRK WEAKNESSES:
  • Noha cannot focus on more than one person at a time and would easily be taken out if outnumbered.
  • Heroes/villains with magnetic and/or electric powers. These quirks can cause his brain/quirk to fizzle depending on their strength.
  • He can also get taken by surprise if his antenna are grabbed and lose focus, he really hates having his antenna touched...
  • While he has the ability to use his quirk on himself, his body is not trained too well to handle it. If he enhances himself too much, he will tire out very easily and may injure himself.
  • He cant activate more than one mode of his quirk at once.
  • Overuse results in migraines and nosebleeds, fainting at the worst.
  • Noha's quirk would be much stronger if he would train his body to withstand his quirk self-use, but he's lazy, so he can't get much use out of it.
QUIRK SIDE-EFFECTS/MUTATIONS/ETC:
  • When Noha is unconscious/sleeping, his eyes become completely black and the reflection of the 'screen' is more visible.
  • His eyes are somewhat of a combo of glass and normal human eye make-up, but they can crack like a tv screen and temporarily disable Noha's vision, though they can be healed easily
  • If his opponent is under control for long enough, they will hear a faint white noise. This is not a part of Noha's actual quirk ability, but a side-effect coming directly from Noha's brain from overuse. When Noha gets migraines, he hears faint to loud white noise.
  • Noha's antennae are pretty sturdy, and don't sway from movement. They do little more than bounce while Noha moves, though occasionally they can be seen twitching a little when he's thinking hard or experiencing a strong emotion.

History

As a child, Noha hadn't yet developed his miserable personality, and was quite easy-going and positive. Despite his somewhat creepy mutations due to his parents quirks, he still made friends and enjoyed talking and hanging out with his classmates after school and during breaks. However, as he got older and his quirk first manifested, people started to distance themselves from him, not all at once, but over time he slowly started to have less people to talk to. He heard his classmates and former friends whispering behind his back about his quirk being villainous and creepy, and that being around him made them uncomfortable. Initially very hurt by this, he confided in his older brother, Nagito, about what was happening to him.

When Nagito were younger, he also dealt with bullying for having a quirk that made people uncomfortable, though his, being much weaker than Noha's, made people physically bully him as well. Fearing the same would happen to Noha, he helped him learn some helpful hand-to-hand combat skills and attempted to give him some brotherly advice, to which Noha thanked him for, but was still upset that he felt alone everywhere but home.

As he got older and entered middle school, Noha's sadness turned to bitterness, and he started to resent other people. He started stirring up trouble with his quirk to get a reaction out of the students and staff, and started purposely making his classmates uncomfortable by saying scary things and creeping them out. Noha was tired of hoping for approval and instead decided to pretend to be the villain everyone thought he would become. Of course he didn't actually want to be a villain, he wanted more than anything to go to U.A., but playing into everyone's fears was too much fun.

In his last year of middle school, after some vaguely unhelpful counseling and suspensions, Noha chilled out a little on his villain gimmick, but at this point was enjoying it too much to stop fully, settling more on the creepy aspect of his facade; it was a good way to hide his inner turmoil anyways. After getting accepted into U.A., his slowly growing ego hit a growth-spurt, and he became even more insufferable than before. While a lot of his outer personality is masking his past trauma, he also genuinely enjoys being seen as scary and will always happily play the villain if he needs to.

Zei Hikunuma | close friend
Noha's only 'real' friend. It's uncertain how they met, but they clicked due to having similar interests, including scaring their classmates on purpose. Noha is the more 'outgoing' of the pair, but together they both tend to enter their own space and could talk for hours. Noha can often be seen hiding and peering out from behind or beside Zei. He won't admit it, but Noha is jealous of Zei's height (5'6" > 6'1")

Neito Monoma | friend
Not particularly close, but they do seem to get along well and Noha enjoys his company. They don't hang out often due to having such different classes, but when they can be together, they mostly gossip about other students.
