Quark is a cat-like creature and Merletta's pet. He is always with her.

Quarky is Ázbyn's inseparable little companion. The cute little creature resembles a cross between a snail and a cat. Despite his average size, Quarky is agile and cunning, climbing bookshelves with ease and wrapping himself around objects. Curious, energetic, and affectionate, Quarky loves to lie on Merle's shoulder or wriggle under the covers or across the bedroom floor. He often makes cute sounds that blend meows and hisses. He has a habit of trying to squeeze into any narrow space, even when he clearly can't fit. He also loves to sleep curled up inside sweaters or nests made of cloth. Quarky is also intelligent and mischievous, enjoying knocking things over and stealing shiny objects. He is also very protective, often curling up in Ázbyn's arms to try to protect her.
