Frederich used to live in Waterdeep, where he was always doing odd jobs here and there, if he wasn't training his martial arts skills. He didn't live a rich life, but he was happy and never sat still. Eventually he got sent out on a bigger mission by the Open Lord of the city. The exact mission forgotten by the passing of time, but he eventually stumbled into Barovia with his group.

Quickly it was noticed that a great danger was running the land, the one who goes by the name of Strahd. Of course he and the rest of the group wanted to go back on their mission and leave Barovia, but found that it was a task that was easier said than done.

While trying to get more information to get out of Barovia, the group was suddenly pulled to the castle as Strahd wanted to see their new playthings. This ended up in a big fight and Frederich being the sole survivor of the group. Strahd gave him leniency and let him go out of the castle.

After the fight with Strahd, Frederich gave up on trying to find a way out of Barovia and settled down in Krezk, as far away as possible from Strahd. Here he found a beautiful woman called Alana, after some flirting and dating they became a couple. 3 years later, there was Lisena who immediately sought to cause problems everywhere as soon as she could walk and talk. He won't ever say it, but he is very proud of her and all her shenanigans.
