- Gawain doesn't drink a whole lot because when he does drink he ends up making very bad and impulsive decisions: Like taking a four hour drive with Riley to a haunted bridge to fist fight the evil spirit that lurks there, or commission life sized marble statues of his friends. His tendency to throw down with an evil spirit any time anywhere has earned him a guest appearance slot on Koshkaah's 'show'. If she is visiting a place where evil spirits are supposed to lurk he comes along, just in case she can't make nice with them, so he can fisticuff.
- He talks to the AI on his phone or virtual assistant as if they were a friend, often beginning statements with 'Hello' and ending them with 'Thank you so much!'. It costs nothing to be polite!
- He is something of a figure of legend in the world of Loran, remembered for his loyalty to his beloved king, battle strategies, and the sorrowful fate he met. What the stories fail to mention the figure that approached Gawain as he lay dying, the last man standing guarding his King's kingdom. It was this fateful moment where Gawain entered a pact with Psyche, a mysterious witch who he had once aided. With new power he sought and obtained revenge for his love and the kingdom, then he vanished from Loran and has stayed at Psyche's side ever since as her faithful companion and protector.
- Gawain has not drawn his sword since the night of his revenge and refuses to do so unless there is simply no other choice. To compensate for this, he has kept up to date with new hand-to-hand fighting styles, as well as trained with various firearms.
