SLOW | not quick or fast.
Early does everything slowly and deliberately. Slow to trust, slow in speaking, he isn't even very speedy or agile on foot. While this makes him significantly less reckless than some, it can lead to others getting impatient with him. When it comes to being a medic his movements are careful and sure, and the idea of someone being in danger can spur him to move faster to come to their aid.

JUST | based on or behaving according to what is morally right and fair.
Early believes in delivering what one deserves- that is, equal to what they've done. In the case of one doing something wrong, once he feels that one has properly atoned for what they did he is more than willing to forgive them. He believes there is good in everyone, somewhere.

DISTANT | not intimate; cool or reserved.
Early's kindness is one far from intimate; he treats all as a friend, and simply as that. He's less comfortable with intimacy, and is unsure what to do with romantic emotions and advances.

PROTECTIVE | having a strong wish to keep someone or something safe from harm.
In the face of danger, Early is quick to use his large, thick-furred body as a shield if need be. This also applies outside of physical danger; he can be prone to inserting himself into arguments if he feels one side is being unnecessarily battered.

PEACEFUL | inclined to avoid conflict; not aggressive.
Early does not fight: he defends himself and others as needed and no more than that. So avoidant of combat is he that he'll even refuse to hunt- preferring to scavenge if need be- as he imagines feeling every wound he inflicts. When against other wolves he'll more often try to pin them with his weight and subdue them that way rather than maim them.

RESPECTFUL | showing deference and respect.
Early respects those around him by default, regardless of their rank, age, or pack, though whether they keep or lose that respect depends on the actions he witnesses.

CURIOUS | eager to know or learn.
Early is naturally interested in anything out-of-place or new, and loves exploring, as he tends to most easily find others to help in doing so.

GULLIBLE | easily persuaded to believe something; credulous.
Due to his naturally high opinion on others when he first meets them and belief that everyone is good somewhere within, he can take some things at face value and be easy to lie to. However, the moment he realizes his trust has been betrayed, he will be very slow to forget it.

Empathetic Mending
When active, Early will bear the same pain of his target's injuries while at the same time lessening their pain and speeding the healing process significantly- to the point that one can witness the flesh threading itself together if it's a surface wound. Injuring the target when this is active will cause intense pain to Early as he bears more than just the brunt of it. No physical injuries will actually appear on Early, but this will wear on his endurance, stamina, adrenaline, and mental clarity, as any experience of severe pain would.

This ability, no matter how much it hurts him, can't actually kill him.
At most it can make him pass out from the pain, thus stopping it's use.
