Haven is aggressive and independent. He does not like the company of others and will not hesitate to defend his territory. He is also very smart and is really good at remembering faces/holds a strong grudge.

He was born on February 8th

Location: Forest (Owlberry Woods)

Haven is a short dire taum that lives in the darker parts of the forest called Owlberry Woods. When he was a cub, one of the forest witches used to trap him to practice his magic upon Haven. The final time he was captured, during one of the witches curses, Haven managed to escape, rushing to wherever he could hide within the woods. That night, there was a drastic thunderstorm, and a bolt of lightning struck down atop him. When the lightning collided with Haven, it struck the nearby trees and caught the forest ablaze. The strike knocked the cub to the murky undergrowth unconscious as the world around him turned to ash at his feet. The curse that was forced upon him caused some of the energy of the flames and lightning to be consumed into it, causing Haven to morph and shift. When he awoke from the long slumber, he found himself glitching and phasing out of reality and an ongoing warmth growing from his left shoulder. Afraid, Haven desperately searched for something to hold for comfirt, but to his horror, the phasing was uncontrollable, no longer allowing him to hold anything. He would be in reality long enough to pick something up, but seconds after the object would fall out of his grasp and onto the floor. Devastated, Haven lived most of his life in the forest in fear, since he could not defend himself since his paw would phase through whatever he swung at, and sometimes his paw would get stuck in trees if his paw phased back in mid swing. Many heard of a taum in the forest who welds great power, and many tried hunting the creature. Over the years, Haven became more angry and aggressive. He began learning more of his power, and learned when to attack to make sure he would make contact and use the phasing to his ability. He also learned how to spark fires with the flames that linger from his shoulder and phasing his flames by nearby trees and flammable plants. He tries to keep contact with others to a minimal but when someone comes searching for him, he is sure to leave a mark to remind them to never come back to his territory.
