Maha's family is one of the most esteemed families in Joko's domain. All of her ancestors are prominent Awakened figureheads in Vabbi, and her father is the Governer of The Necropolis. Her mother, however, was not devout and died without being awakened bringing shame upon her family. She works to undo that.

She enjoys reassuring families that their loved ones will be taken care of and will walk them through the steps to becoming chosen for awakening. She will accompany families looking to make the pilgramage to The Necropolis and also ventures outside of Joko's domain for news and adventures.

When Balthazar began attacking Joko's forces she traveled to The Free City of Amnoon to discuss their common enemy. There she met The Ulinn and has since traveled with him and his companions. She enjoys teasing him about their differing beliefs and atttempting to make him less severe. She helps guide Lydia back from death.

Her time with Ulinn makes her question her beliefs but she hopes the feeling is mutual.
