Basic rules
Rules for if you are going to draw/write/etc something with my characters. Six simple rules. Keep these in mind and we'll all be better off.
1) Credit me. Use the :dev: or :icon: or @ method in the description, as it lets me know as well. It will show in my mentions and I want to see what you do!
2) Nothing Sexual. I understand the internet likes sexual content, but I do not want my characters used in that way. It makes me uncomfortable, because I tend to put bits of myself into some of them, so please respect that. So, no fanservice images, no sexual stories/drawings, etc. THERE IS ONE EXCEPTION TO THIS. Only a few people who I know well and trust well are allowed. If you're unsure, its basically "are we friends?" (ie, mutual follow and talk a lot) then you can ask if the answer is yes. If we aren't, a) don't be offended and b) please don't do anything sexual with them.
3) Do not ship my characters with yours or anyone else's. If there is a canon ship (IE; Morana and Sebastian) please, please, please respect that canon ship. At the end of the day, it boils down to one basic thing: my characters were not made for you. Yes, its great you like them, but I did not make them for you. I made them for myself, for myself to enjoy.
4) Keep them in character! Please, when writing for a story or for a comic, keep my characters in character! This really should go without saying. If you're not sure how they would act in a certain situation, please ask.
5) Please do not use my characters in comic or story series. One or two shots is fine, but if you want to use them for a longer series, please talk to me first.
6) If you do something that breaks my rules, I will ask you to delete the deviation/post/whatever. Its a matter of respect for the character's creator, because like I said, these characters were not made for you to abuse. If you do not comply, I will report the deviation. If you continue to deny my rules, I will consider legal action. This may seem harsh to you, but I own the copyright to my characters.
