Personality

Charlie doesn't have a censor and always speaks his mind, even if it means it'll cause a fight. He has zero tolerance whenever someone tries to bullshit him so he doesn't hesitate to call them out on it. 

Backstory

For as long as Charlie could remember, his family just consisted of him and his father. From what he was told, his mother left in the middle of the night to start a new life. 

Despite not having a ton of money, Charlie's father managed to find a way to get by through juggling multiple jobs at once. During the long, lonely days, Charlie would visit his neighbors within their apartment building and do chores for them as a way to make small amounts of money, as well as distract himself from being alone at home. Through visiting the other tenants, Charlie managed to meet his best friend, Rosie. The two hit things off quickly once learning they both had an interest in music, and soon began trying to write songs together. Saving up his money from assisting neighbors, Charlie managed to purchase a guitar for himself so they could start putting notes to lyrics. 

When Charlie was in high-school, his father had gotten into brutal a car crash on his way home from work, causing damage to his brain and giving him Prosopagnosia. As a result from this, Charlie began to dye his hair bright colors to help his dad recognize him better. 

Charlie went to college for a brief period of time once out of school, but dropped out after the first semester was over. Continuing his education with more general classes wasn't something he wanted to put up with in order to get a piece of paper that says he makes music. Instead, Charlie wanted to just get out there and create from the get-go. Unlike Charlie, Rosie continued her college education to aim for opportunities that would be difficult to achieve otherwise. The two share an apartment with each other and continue to make music, along with several friends Rosie had met in college. While Rosie continues with her college career, Charlie is the primary writer of their band's songs.
