Ota is reserved and dignified, often behaving in a pessimistic manner. Being distant, they don’t initiate conversation, but  if they do,  they would rather talk about more serious topics than keep things light-hearted. With cynical and rude comments up their sleeve, Ota would not hesitate to be blunt nor direct. They have a religious side, where they can go on tangents for.

Otto is played to be more outgoing and approaching, opposite from their normal reserved personality. Ota uses Otto to approach other people with ease, hoping to become more welcoming with their alter ego. With Otto, they can joke around and be more playful with others, but some of Ota can still show through the puppet’s behavior.

They are skilled in puppeting with high realistic and expressive movements, hence why they're famous.

VOICE CHANGING AND MIMICRY
As a ventriloquist, Ota has the ability to change their voice drastically.

ARTISTIC ABILITIES
Ota can sculpt and draw well. They use it for their projects and gigs, along with concepts.

They were born as an only child under a strict Catholic Family in Japan and attended Christian/Catholic schools for most of their life which basically ingrained with them with orthodox religion. Since their schools and parents praised God all the time, Ota saw Him as a role model and someone they would be rather than someone to follow. They were a quiet kid, never interested in other people or friends unless they did would what Ota said. With their autocratic and narcissistic attitude, friendships wouldn't last long.

Their house life wasn't the most stable, but mostly blocked it and suppressed those memories out as a child. Their mother was very controlling and cruel at moments as their dad endured it.

They took interest in ventriloquism at their second year of elementary school, originally handling with sock puppets and gained a following with their classes, making Ota pursue ventriloquism. Along with that, they took up craft works and wood shop in their second year of high school, making dummies, puppets, and eventually, Otto.

Ota and Otto were recognized in their school's talent show, in which they won, and traveled through the country with their gig. Due to the stress and following illnesses from their gigs, Ota's would often get an unusable voice and carpel tunnel in their dominant hand, causing their manager to quickly produce an automated version of Otto that can move and speak to keep business going.

During a break period between their travels, Ota visited their family for a day together. A fight broke out, and with Ota's suppressed memories coming back to them and their recognition of their mom's inhumane behavior, Ota violently lashed out and attacked their mom and dad, accidentally killing their mom and stunning their dad for a moment. Ota, in the heat of the moment, ran out and fled, hoping to never return to that house again. No matter how much they repented and begged for forgiveness, they're always plagued with that dreaded memory.
