Kurami is your typical angsty teen, she has a short attention span and can come off extremely rude. She can be extremely cynical at times; often cracking edgy jokes at terrible situations. As expected she has an immature sense of humor finding irony in a lot of situations she is put in. Despite her cynical behavior she can also be extremely understanding. As she feels she pity for those who have suffered in their life. Kuri is also extremely protective of her friends; going as far as to get beat up if it means that they don’t have to get hurt.

Despite her appearance, Kuri is very intelligent however she just likes to put in the bare minimum effort in stuff like school work so she can save her time for other things She deems important. Because of this most of her teachers and peers just think she is a lazy asshole with violent tendencies. 

You could say her rude personality is due to the fact that she didn’t have a good childhood. Her father disregarded her for most of her life as he was a heavy drinker who would often come home drunk, leaving the responsibility of raising Kuri to her mother. He also frequently took money out of their bank account to pay for liquor (at somebody point he even took money out of Kuri’s wallet, much to her mother’s disapproval.) Luckily her mother showed much more affection then her father did, however she wasn’t home most of them time as she had to work overtime most days of the week to make up for the money that her father was taking. As expected Kuri fell into a horrible state of depression, she started using drugs as they were the only thing that felt ‘real’ to her. Relationships with friends, and her best friend Lisk, were broken and at that point in time she felt completely alone; having nothing to turn to except drugs. At some point she realized how much of a waste her life was and that she wanted something more than her current state. It was then that she was inspired to help people in similar situations to herself, creating the group now known as Insanity.

Kuri would get pissed off by having to listen to happy, lovely, cheerful songs. Angsty teens HATE those! Another alternate way would be picking on her friends, but let's face it, who WOULDN'T that piss off?
