Ashton is a gentle giant. He prefers to stay in the background of things, and given his recent resistance to violence, he has been put into support roles such as body guarding, escorting, and even more domestic tasks. He doesn't talk much, although he is polite and is secretly quite the romantic. When he is comfortable around someone, he is quite charming and almost fatherly, depending on the person.

Ashton was not created like other warbots his kind. He was one of the rare instances where the consciousness of a human was emulated within him. This does not make him the fastest or the most intelligent robot ever, but it allowed him to quickly develop sentience in a way not commonly seen in other robots.

He was created for war, and often treated like a weapon. However, due to his difference he was slowly given more rights, and treated more like a person than a thing over time. As his model of warbots aged out, he was kept around because he was able to better adapt to the changing times, as well as curiosity on his maker's part.

Over time he developed some resistance to overtly violent arrangements. So he was given more supportive or domestic tasks, such as guarding, escorting, or information collection. He appears more content with these positions, but more than anything he wishes to be given full autonomy.
