Born on the island of Maui, Hawaii. At the age of 11, her mother helped her fake her own death and the two moved to California so Absinthe could begin living as a girl instead. She began transitioning before she would have started her natural puberty, nobody was the wiser. She wasn't a secluded or nervous kid, but she didn't get along well with a ton of kids her age until she went into high school. There, she slowly amassed a group of friends, including Corvid, who she met in 9th grade. The two of them began dating in 11th grade, 1958, and remain together now. When she was 20, she hooked up with a pretty girl at a party, who turned out to be a Gangrel, who embraced her. All Absinthe knows of her is she was booted from her pack, who taught Absinthe all the stuff she needed to know about her new "life" as repayment. She kept it a secret from Corvid, but when she told him, he told her that he was also embraced by a Toreador the year prior.

She met her girlfriend, Amity, in the 1970s. The two met at a party, where they started talking and nearly immediately hit it off. She introduced Amity to her boyfriend, Corvid, and they're all very happy together.
