Profile
Despite her young age, Elena's life has been an accomplished one. Born to the former Queen and her husband in the Arcturian countryside, little Ellie was left with little time to become used to her surroundings before being scouted by the Wayfarers and, much to the surprise of the nobility, receiving parental permission to learn from them, albeit not on Empagu, but rather from an on-site Wayfarer who would remain on the family's Arcturian estate until the budding noble-to-be came of age. Having been mentored in the healing arts, people-reading skills, and negotiation methods of the Wayfarers alongside her normal schooling for nearly her entire life, her teen years were spent out on what was dubbed a "mini-pilgrimage", traveling across the reaches of her homeworld and trying her best to live by the code she'd secretly sworn to uphold.
This pilgrimage, as well as her balking of many of the aristocratic conventions that were often seen as "silly" by the middle and working classes, lent the beautiful young noble a populist slant, especially among new voters. Thus it came with little surprise that her first bid for a council seat was a successful one, and less than a year later, at the untimely passing of the Arcturian King, the Council voted almost unanimously in favor of Elena to take the seat of Queenship, becoming the youngest in Arcturian history to do so. Her coronation seemed like destiny to some, but Elena knew the truth, the Council assumed that a young ruler would be easy to manipulate, placing the royal figurehead into a purely ceremonial role, and though she still acknowledges that she has much to learn, she also knows that following in the footsteps of her mother and adhering to her Wayfarer teachings will lead her down a righteous path.
During what little free time the newly-crowned Queen still has, she can be found roaming the grounds of the Citadel, tending to her private garden, or reading in some comfortable nook. Though she always puts on a composed and peaceful front, Elena is still very much a teenager, and occasionally, when no one is looking, will become quite belligerent with objects in her bedroom, especially when Council meetings have been at a standstill for long periods of time. Many a feather pillow has fallen victim to a flurry of flying fists and furiously fumed curses from the fawn's occasionally fiery temper.
