STATUS
Pernelle lived in Denver before she came to be in the Mojave Desert. She had a strong background as a trader before becoming a courier.
She moved away from her home city after the Legion expanded and took over the Hangdog tribe, including one of her childhood friends. Fortunately, she is still close with her family and scavenger friends despite them scattering across the continent.

Summary
Growing up in the Dog Town: Denver, Pernelle is no stranger to the horrors enacted by Caesar's Legion. Largely abandoned, it served as an excellent yet risky location to scavenge. She was part of a group of children who were tasked with climbing into the small spaces of the ruins to retrieve loot. In return, they gained protection and food from powerful armoured adults. Alongside this, the children found many undisturbed treasures for themselves. One day, they discovered some pre-war technology within the ruins. It is revealed that the group's true identity was the Circle Of Steel.
She was familiar with the Hangdogs, often witnessing and then later trading with the tribe. In the Mojave she is all too familiar with what the Legion will mean for the area, knowing of the tribe's fate.
Career
Between the Legion and the Brotherhood, the families chose to move to California under the NCR. Pernelle eventually picked up a courier job with the Mojave Express in the hub.
A charismatic girl who can strike up a deal with anyone, she picked up work as a courier for the Mojave Express on the side. Incapacitated during Benny's assault, all she remembers is the suffocating pain and checkered suit.
Game
Pernelle is welcomed in Goodsprings and finds love, support and hospitality. Between the Powder Gangers, Legion and mysterious "COURIER" writing, she is fearful for the future and gathers her party of companions.
