Summary

Adah's struggles were little validated by his Father whom endured a harsher upbringing. Nonetheless, James still cared for him. However, Amata was always ready to talk and binge some old pre-war movies with Adah (snack rations saved up!).

An Intelligent young man just like his Father is how most people would describe Adah. Whilst he is talented at medicine, astronomy and physics were always more his style. At least it's useful for the Vault right? Is what he'd think about that subject. A snarky but still shy teenager who had it instilled upon him to have empathy for others. Just not himself.

Microaggressions were commonplace in the Vault. Whether from those who knew of his Wasteland heritage or those who had been brought up by these adults and taught that the Father and Son were bad news. Like many, he was a target of the Tunnel Snakes: a shoddy secret extension of the Vault "security".

The sirens of the Vault blaring are sometimes all he can hear. Combining his emotional issues with abandonment and the horrors of the wasteland creates a very unstable young man. Feeling confident with his abilities in medicine, he uses Med-X to treat his wounds after combat. Soon, he becomes reliant on this substance and uses it casually. It shuts everything out. He can sleep better. This was not the first of his questionable choices.

The rejection of his Father is what fully sent him on this downward spiral. Adah wanted his Dad, not a scientist. After freeing James from Tranquility Lane, he refused to aid him at the Jefferson Memorial with the supermutants and parted on bad terms with his Father. James' unapologetic stance towards his Son fueled hate and a desire for more Med-X.

Desperation and misjudgement followed his first adventures in the wasteland. Gaining caps for gear (whether chems or laser pistols) he completed many of the side-quests in game. It is said that no-one can agree on what the Lone Wanderer was really like. People found it hard to imagine that the man who brought clean water to the Capital Wasteland was also the man who killed The Family and left the slaves of The Pitt to their fate.

Eventually, Adah decided that he would leave the Capital Wasteland behind after beginning his journey to Point Lookout. Shutting out the companions that he had gained was an art of his. His experiences in those swamps led him to once again, seek out his Father.

James was happy to see the return of his Son but could tell that he was troubled. A chance to reconnect with his child made him overjoyed. Whilst he spoke of how proud he was of Adah for deactivating the bomb in Megaton, Adah secretly stole from him. Witnessing the death of his Father shortly after this results in one of his deepest regrets. Never having the chance to rebuild their relationship, Adah still doesn't know whether he loves or hates his Dad after his suicide.

Struggling to process the events at the memorial, the angry Adah returns to Vault 101 an unrecognisable man. Amata had hoped that her friend could find a peaceful solution to the troubles of Vault 101. The Overseer however got a taste of wasteland justice and was killed. Filled with fury, Amata found no sympathy from the friend who killed her Father. The murderer was expelled from his old home with thanks from the other rebels.

Finding his old nemesis in the bar, they form an unexpected union in the new Tunnel Snakes gang. Hating authority, the chaotic pair take the fight to the enclave. Adah prepares for the ensuing battle with them as revenge for all that they've done. He is good at keeping his substance abuse a secret. Seeking redemption, Adah activates the purifier himself after receiving the G.E.C.K. and destroying Raven Rock.

Butch turns to the bottle even more whilst Adah is in a short coma. Both of their addictions come to light and reflect back at eachother. Having tried to stop taking Med-X once before, Adah successfully breaks the habit this time through support and medication.

Post Game: I

Older and with much of his past behind him, the newly-wed Adah finds himself becoming reimmersed into Vault 101's struggles. Raiders have began to harass and attack his old home and it's traders. Old friends begin to seek out his aid, unbeknownst to Overseer Amata Almodovar.

Of course, Adah finds himself helping out Vault 101. He's happy to see a few of his old friends, but in that moment he spots his childhood friend Amata. Staring at one another, they choose not to approach.

The organisation of raiders is destroyed, converting the raider Lily McPherson to the Brotherhood. In the time following after, the Brotherhood is changed with the death of Sarah Lyons.

Post Game: II

Adah is abducted by aliens alongside Butch during the Mothership Zeta DLC, set at the end of his Fallout 3 adventure. He watches Butch panic from his alien prison cell about how he thought Adah was done getting into wild shit. During their takeover, they both stupidly prod a piece of alien technology. A baby appears within the ship. Believing that it's "messed up to abduct a baby" they decide to adopt it.

The Mothership Zeta becomes Adah, Butch and the young Sabrina's new home. It has the familiarity of being enclosed, whilst allowing them freedom to journey wherever they would like. Adah studies this technology and attempts to use it for the good of humanity, much like James had began to do with Project Purity.

When Sabrina begins to need glasses at a young age, her resemblance to both parents becomes obvious. Adah and Butch are very surprised but had already raised her as their own anyways. Sabrina yearns to explore the planet Earth and Adah finds himself shielding her from the wasteland... until she sneaks off to earth on her own at the age of 15. Her parents were relieved that she was safe, however she was the true danger wielding incredible weaponry.
