Ovan

Ovan | Male (He/Him) | Unknown | Demon | Heterosexual

As of recent times, I have been working on the creation and initiation of an animalistic, after-life style/type universe - more commonly known as simply "Hellscape". In this universe, demons and "angels" aren't just mindless entities forever roaming the abyss known as "the afterlife"; instead they are ranked, systematized, and judged in an ever-shifting system - although it can - on the rare, unlikely occasion - be flawed. A current example of this flaw is also where one of the MCs - our characters - drops in - but, alas, enough about that, I feel like I should explain where exactly the aforementioned character would fall into place.

 The main character of this story is supposedly a sergeant/head within the main "demon defensive division" (more commonly referred to as the D.D.D), and would likewise need a boss, director, or even sergeant major upon his field; which is most likely where "." - or as I've dubbed him "ovan" - would step in. As expected, the story-impacted role of sergeant major is rather important to this character's [the mc, not ovan] perspective within his own universe, at it is initially ovan who, despite originally having somewhat good intentions, leads him to have to make a hard decision in his life, to truly choose. 

However, despite what one would think given the scenario, ovan never truly becomes a villain/one fully hated by the MC of the story, - think along the likes of claudia from TDP - but rather remains and persists to be perceived as what he always/once was, a [now former] father figure and tome of wisdom for the character (ovan happening to be the first to help him out as a fledgling/"pup"); only now, his wisdom and overall aura is shrouded in a much more dark, almost near sinister shadow of light, which can (and does, to be more precise) cause the MC to doubt even his own beliefs. - This is likewise an odd thing to be viewed as - a father figure-turned fear raiser, and yet, it persists; as like ovan, the MC (I can link him if needed, his name is grevious), is unable to, cannot even will himself to fathom, the idea of truly letting go.
