PERSONALITY

+ Confident ; Serpentstride is always cool and collected, and very confident in themselves and their actions. They know their strengths and they don't shy away from them. Not much gets under their skin.
+ Cunning ; They're sharp-tongued and quick-witted, and are good at figuring out whatever it is they want to know. It's difficult to trick them and it's not uncommon to be tricked by them.
= Secretive ; Serpentstride doesn't like to share details easily, and isn't much for maintaining close relationship. They tend to keep to themself and, when spoken to, often speak cryptically.
= Cautious ; While Serpentstride knows their strengths, they also don't like to take unnecessary risks. They're skeptical of strangers and potential dangers, and aren't willing to give anyone the benefit of the doubt.
- Aloof ; Serpentstride isn't very close with the other cats in the clan. While they're loyal to the clan and want the best for their clanmates, they don't prioritize personal relationships. They're not very friendly and are bad at showing that they care.
- Blunt ; If Serpentstride has something to say to someone, they're going to say it; they aren't interested in masking their words or sparing anyone's feelings. Their bluntness easily encroaches on rudeness, and they can be very off-putting for young apprentices or more sensitive cats. 

HISTORY

• Kit: Serpentkit was born to two clan cats, Darkdapple and Elkfur, alongside one sibling, Thunderkit. They were always a quiet kit, and spent a lot of time listening to the stories of the elders. Even at a young age, they loved to test their balance and climb among the tree branches, much to the chagrin of their mother and the other queens. 
• Apprentice: When they were promoted to an apprentice, they were finally able to put their skills to the test for real; they were always pushing themselves in hunting and battle skills, and especially in climbing. Their mentor also noted their quick wit, and even at a young age they had a sharp tongue. They never really spent much time with the other apprentices, except for occasionally Thunderpaw. 
• Warrior: Serpentstride was given their warrior name after they participated in an ambush on some rogues that had encroached on BranchClan territory. Due to their climbing prowess and almost snake-like secrecy, they received the name -stride. As a warrior, they continued to work towards helping the clan, as a hunter, in battle, and even as a spy if needed. 

 RELATIONSHIPS

MOTHER: Darkdapple; Elder; NPC - A fluffy black she-cat. Darkdapple is one of the few cats that Serpentstride is still close to; they often spend time with her in  the elders' den after their duties.

FATHER: Elkfur ; Elder ; NPC - A dark, short-furred tabby. Elkfur and Serpentstride are distant and more-or-less neutral toward each other. 

BROTHER: Thundergaze ; Warrior ; NPC - Brown tabby tom with amber eyes. Although not as close as when they were kits, Serpentstride still has a good relationship with their brother.

OTHER INFORMATION

• They're one of the most sure-footed cats in BranchClan, and they're completely at home among the trees. 
• Although they're an older warrior, they've never had an apprentice, nor have they wanted one. 
• They have a strong belief in StarClan and the Warrior Code.
