Mist is a very sensitive and sweet-tempered Eevee hybrid with a habit of daydreaming and a nose for the mysterious. However, she's fearful of getting into situations she does not understand and of getting those that she cares about hurt because of it-- due to this she can act a bit stubborn and distant when it comes to speaking what's on her mind. She's not very good at completely hiding her emotions from others though.

She doesn't like confrontation and gets stressed when under pressure or great responsibility. She strongly dislikes the thought of burdening others with her own problems.*

She almost always uses fighting as a last resort, but will if that is what is needed in order for her to defend herself or others close to her.

*After being stuck too deeply in this mindset caused her to lose Sparky, she is working on opening herself up to others more.

Bio: (Before time of RP) Before Mist was even born her aunt, Rain, had died for her while protecting her egg. Rain had carried the dormant powers of the Sapphire Key inside her until her death. As the newborn Mist hatched out of the egg, those powers transferred to her, although she was not aware of them. Fog and Jax returned to find Rain's body and the newborn shiny Eevee hybrid snuggled up against it. Fog, though she grieved for the loss of her sister, swept up her child and decided to name her "Mist" as a way to honor Rain's memory. She caught a glimpse of Mist's eyes, and was struck by how much they resembled those of Rain. 

Mist was soon introduced to Sparky, a Pichu born a few weeks before she had been to a pair of Raichu that were good friends with her parents. The two young Pokemon became fast friends, forming a strong brother-sister relationship. They played together in the Forest often under the watchful eye of their parents. 

A few years passed, but Mist and Sparky's lives were torn apart one day when their parents were all killed by a gang of frighteningly powerful dark Pokemon. In an effort to stay safe, Mist and Sparky fled for the deeper wood. They accidentally discovered a hole under a tree that led to an underground cavern. It was a beautiful place, with luminescent plants giving off a cool, yet calming glow, and the soft sound of a waterfall nearby. To Mist it felt as if the place radiated a sort of magic. Sparky declared that they would live here together and be safe. Sure enough from that day forth, the secret cavern in the Forest became their home. 

(RP events [ongoing]) As time went by, the power of the Sapphire began to awaken within Mist. She became haunted by strange dreams at night, and would wake feeling somewhat mentally drained. Sometimes the dreams were so strong that she would feel ill for a while after waking up. These symptoms only worsened over time, but Mist denied that there was anything wrong with her. She deeply internalised that denial, and became distant from Sparky, hiding her condition from him in an effort to keep him from worrying about her. Meanwhile the dreams started to haunt her waking world as well, in the form of strange visions. 

One day Mist had a vision so powerful that it clashed with the part of her that was in denial, and she collapsed, losing consciousness as she fell into a feverish state. From that day on she became even more sensitive to visions, but would more often than not feel pain whenever she experienced one. Often in her dreams she would see a glowing, blue, spirit-like creature in the form of an Eevee, but she would never let herself get close enough to find out what it was...

...That was until a certain fateful encounter.

Meanwhile, her incessant attempts at reassurance in an effort to keep him uninvolved were really getting to Sparky. He grew frustrated with her as she continued to avoid his questions. This culminated one day in a confrontation where the Pikachu outright demanded she tell him what was going on. When she continued to remain silent, Sparky ran away, hurt that she would continue to refuse to confide in him... She hasn't seen him in the waking world since.

When Sparky disappeared, she became haunted by guilt over her actions and the reoccurring nightmare of the Pikachu staring her down with a menacing expression on his face... Little did she know her sibling had been captured by dark forces...

✧Mist is the current holder of the Sapphire Key, one of nine magical gemstones formed from and infused with light force whose power was once used to seal away the Lord of Shadow. It is known as the "Key of Spirit" and has the power to grant visions to the user, form a protective barrier, and heal others. Though Mist has mostly only tapped into its power via visions, she has also subconsciously used its shielding ability.

✧Despite being part Umbreon, Mist didn't inherit the dark typing from either of her parents. 

✧Her eyes glow whenever she has a vision. They also glow at night when she has dreams connected through the power of her Key. However, because she has her eyes closed the glow isn't very noticeable. 

✧She has no control over the light emitted from her rings. They glow automatically in dark places but also when she is under a significant amount of emotional pressure, which often coincides with her power. She'd like to learn to be able to control them one day.
