Personality

Together, they go by the name of Akuji, except for the darker side, which occasionally goes by Deirdre. Their names mean "dead and awake", and "sorrowful" - Akuji's light side is apathetic, and dulled to pain, but Deirdre will at times be trapped within her sorrow, leaving just Akuji to lead them in day-to-day life - which is why most of the time they just go by Akuji.

Appearance

For humam HCs, they appear as two souls chained together and cannot go more than a foot away from each other. Deirdre is an African American woman, while Akuji is Japanese; their traits bleed into each other for a mixed hertiage. They dye their hair, and have their tails, horn, and halo in human form, as well as Akuji's two eyes peering from her forearm.

Story

Akuji lives in the places were light is hard to reach, and the stars shine brightest. Small towns, cabins in the forest, at the bottom of a lake, maybe even on an abandoned spaceship - Akuji is cursed to walk between dimensions to each of the loneliest places. Akuji was once just one kalon - the pink side - who lived in a very strict society on an alien planet. They broke a taboo, which in reality is something very simple, a very small mistake, in which the standard punishment is their curse. Deirdre being born though was a magical anomaly to account for the horror of breaking that taboo.
