About Birthday - Feb 13th
Averill is very docile and intelligent when compared to other cyclops and half-giants, though they still have their moments. They are incredibly territorial and often prefer to keep to themselves. They only interact with folks when they feel like getting something out of them, whether it's a frightened scream, exotic foods, or a strange new trinket. They are wiser than they lead on, often outsmarting those who think they can sneak around their home in search of hidden riches. Averill has no interest in harming the innocent so during such a situation Averill likes to scare the intruders and see what they will try to do in attempt to save themselves from Averill's bluff. However, being treated as a dim-witted beast quickly upsets them and can lead to broken bones if the offender does not choose their next words carefully.
They are carnivorous but have no interest in eating people as some other half-giants might. Instead they greatly enjoy cheese, bread, and just about any other food that their body can't properly digest. Though this inability to digest certain foods properly seems to be more of a personal issue than a carnivorous one...
The only foods they refuse to eat are plants and vegetables as they don't provide nearly enough nutrients to even bother. Even in starvation, plants would not save them for long at all.
Due to the unstable genes of cyclops, their appearance can often change either slightly or drastically.
Averill used to look similar to a normal cyclops, with skin the color of stone, rounded ears, and white hair the color of moss. Now their skin has taken a gray purple tone with ears growing to pointed tips and hair that grows a brilliant pink with blue streaks growing out randomly from the scalp.
Their anatomy does not give hints to any specific gender and travelers talking about them seem split on which gender they assign to the half-giant. Thankfully Averill is unbothered by any pronouns or identifying titles. They just barely have a concept of why these labels matter at all frankly. They like to hear what people come up with and ask what brought them to that conclusion. It makes the person uncomfortable and it's very entertaining.

Trivia
- In a relationship with Lewis. They often show affection through roughhousing. They dislike kissy goo-goo affection so their relationship is usually not immediately obvious to anyone. Not like Averill and Lewis care though.
- Roughly 21ft tall, but with enchantment to appear like an orc is 6ft
- Doesn't mind being an orc or cyclops. They enjoy aspects from each lifestyle.
Personality Theme
Typical of cyclops nature, Averill is very anti-social and prefers to keep to themselves. They will not put up any facade to try and seem approachable and certainly will not sugar-coat what they want to say for the sake of your feelings.
As icy cold as they are, they do have a soft spot for the friends they do manage to make. Averill is more than willing to help provide safe travel though dangerous territory or do some heavy lifting for free when it comes to them. Anyone else who needs something done is gonna need to pay up or buzz off.
In their free time they greatly enjoy napping or designing and sewing new clothes. Recently they've been trying to learn to cook but it usually ends up terribly burnt... They also have problems with depth perception, reading, and patience.
WIP Averill is fiercely loyal to Lewis. The two started off on the wrong foot, with Lewis calling Averill's bluffs due to his knowledge on typical cyclops behavior and Averill becoming annoying with the elf constantly badgering him with questions about instincts and science. Over time Averill grew to like Lewis' company and began to conciosuly go out of their way to help him.

Story
Cyclops are also called half-giants and they are known for having magically unstable genes. Depending on the individual, their appearance and abilities can change either slightly or drastically. For example, if a cyclops steps in a magical fire trap, they might get burned like normal, or the fire magic will travel directly into them and give them the ability to breath fire. Anything that is magical or has magical abilities has a chance to affect a cyclops genes so fighting them physically is always advised.

Now their skin has taken a gray purple tone with ears growing to pointed tips. Thanks to a bolt of magic that nearly missed their eye when they were young, Averill's hair now grows a brilliant pink with blue streaks growing out randomly from the scalp. It's safe to say most of Averill's abilities and features come from some sort of magical exposure. Though it is hard to pinpoint which features came from what, such as their ability to change eye color and blue tongue.

Character Creation
This section serves as a record of how and when this character was created and how they've developed over the years. This is something mostly for myself to look back on but if you find it interesting, cool!
Punchez was created from a drawing that depicted every prompt with available badges to obtain from tutorials on DeviantArt. The resulting character design was created sporadically as I asked my brother over voicecall what, "fucking righteous sick features to add to my very cool original character".
After Punchez was spat out into reality, I remarked on how he looked like every single character design from 2004 platforming games. This further fed into more ideas until he became a homage to all those weird creative adventure games from many people's childhood like Blinx, Ty, Klonoa, Psyconauts, etc.
