Description
A basic unmodified male model sexbot. He dresses in business casual and glasses due to his owner's preference. The glasses have no lenses in them. Was owned by a woman named Yoshiko, who discards him when she becomes engaged. He is strangely kind and optimistic, and holds no resentment towards Yoshiko for abandoning him. He is the kind to read deeply into small gestures.

Yoshiko and Shigeru were romantically involved and she would often tell him that she loved him. He would reciprocate and loved her back. However, when she gained a human boyfriend, she hid Shigeru shamefully away before finally sending him to an electronic disposal center. 

Setting
In a world where technology has become sophisticated enough for androids, they have become increasingly life-like to the point where many now have sex features.

At the electronic disposal center he reactivates and spends his time waiting to be dismantled. He ponders his role in Yoshiko's life, and comes to the conclusion that he was an expensive and elaborate masturbation tool that was no longer needed. He congratulates himself for fulfilling his role well rather than feeling bitter.

He finds a reactivated Yura among the other discarded electronics and begins to talk to her.
