Description
A moon rabbit and apprentice of the Jade Rabbit. Sent to Earth to gather ingredients for the Jade Rabbit. Friends with Chang E.

Chang Er and the Jade Rabbit live on the moon. SHOUT Z lives on the moon as well and is the Jade Rabbit's apprentice. One day, the Jade Rabbit asks SHOUT Z to go out to Earth and collect some ingredients for the medicine he makes. However, he must come back in one moon cycle (that's about month for the lunar impaired).

SHOUT Z, of course, is excited to go to Earth and fetch things for 老師 (lǎoshī, it means teacher and it's the way he respectfully refers to the Jade Rabbit.)

So he goes to Earth and meets a girl. He talks to her and introduces himself in Chinese as 小兔子 (xiǎo tùzi). However, the girl mispronounces it with a heavy accent and calls him "SHOUT Z" which he decides is way cooler than 小兔子 (xiǎo tùzi) and begins to go by that. He explains to her that he must gather important ingredients by one lunar cycle.

However, he feels he has plenty of time and begins to explore and play on Earth with the girl. As time passes, the girl begins to worry about SHOUT Z's procrastination, and insists that he finish his job so he doesn't have to worry about it anymore. He tells her that he has plenty of time and plays the whole month away. When it is time for him to go back to the moon, he didn't do his job and completely forgot what ingredients he needed. Luckily, the girl remembered and helped him get what he needed (and scolded him about the importance of getting things done early).

When he got back, the Jade Rabbit took the ingredients and made moon cake. SHOUT Z was upset because the Jade Rabbit tricked him into thinking it was important ingredients for the immortal Chang Er's medicine, but it turns out Chang Er was craving moon cake for the Mid-Autumn festival, and all 3 had a good laugh at SHOUT Z's expense.
