Unnamed Manga Editor

A young editor at a Japanese publishing company. This company has been bleeding out and has yet to find a hit like the manga that brought them to fame 20 years ago.

He is relatively fluent in English.

He has been following a certain English fancomic of a classic manga, and has been using JP-EN dictionaries to help him read it. He gets caught by one of his superiors while trying to read one of the updates, and is forced to "translate" some of the pages so everyone in the office can read it. They see that there is potential in the fancomic, and the head editor decides to revive their publishing company that they should revive the manga by publishing the fancomic officially. He originally was going to do so without permission, but with the young editor's insistence they sent a message to the writers of the fancomic offering to hire them.
