| Personality | Rayscorch is a warm, family-oriented cat who has a strong tendency to but the well-being of those he cares about over his own. He is very protective, fusses over the sick and wounded, and falls into a deep depression whenever another dies. He's sweet and easy to get along with, but he is no one's doormat. He was more aggressive as a kit, but that has matured into an appropriate assertiveness. While he is very reasonable, he has a tendency to overlook things; he is unaware of this. | |
| History | Rayscorch was taken by LunarClan as a kit, and apprenticed to Deadsplash due to having a fear of him. They became friends, and he lost loyalty to his birth family, rejecting his mother when she returned for him. He was mates with his childhood friend Basil-leaf, who died of illness to fulfill a prophecy when their kits were young and later dumped him from the afterlife. Their son was also part of the prophecy and rose to the top before failing miserable. One of their daughters has become a leader as well. Despite his warmth and protectiveness, Rayscorch's family members often push him away, or die, or both. | |
