Lichenstar's Links
Mother. That bitch was wrong about me, I'd say I'm pretty good at this whole life thing. Pretty impressive, right? Don't worry, you're probably better off the way you are now. You could even say I saved you. We'll talk about it when we end up in hell.
Daughter. They keep telling me that, but I do not recognize her. I... do suppose she has my eyes, or, one of them... She is the leader of DampClan. I am not too fond of following the rules, but apparently this is where I am supposed to be?
Father. He doesn't even know me, he didn't have the attention span to keep up. He ended up wandering off from the clans, somehow fell into a cult, got out, and now he's back, all while just looking at plants and shit like that.
Daughter. I don't think I did a good job parenting! Everyone seems scared of my little girl, how is she ever going to make friends like this! Well, she does seem to be happier nowadays... She just might need a little bit of gentle encouragement!
Sister. Valena, to my knowledge, is what they call a "stupid motherfucker." Thankfully she doesn't come around these parts all too often, not that I imagine her being too difficult to handle should she happen to find us again.
"My sissy, Lauren! Or Lichenbreeze or whatever she's called now. Haven't talked much, or at all, but that'll change soon enough! Probably. She seems pretty busy lately."
She was my mentor. I might have thrown her under the metaphorical bus for my own personal gain, but, see this, I am kind of Like That. I hope it doesn't warm your heart too much that I spared you; I was in negotiations with 'higher' forces.
"She is, and always has been, a walking migraine." Former apprentice and... daughterly figure?
Lizardwatcher got me into this mess, I guess. At least she's agreeable about it. Haha, who am I kidding. What would I be doing if not this? I can't imagine anything better, and I've got eight lives to spend 'til my luck runs dry.
She's ma best friend! She fixed DampClan when it was broken, keeps me safe like she loves me too, and she lives here with us now. She turned the place into a cool nest thing, like we're birds! How creative! She is so smart.
Uhg, Fleetclaw's always on my case because I pissed her off once or something. She's getting a grip on FlareClan and FernClan, she'll surely go for DesertClan too. I'll have to be proactive. Make no mistake, rank isn't power.
Ohhh, Lichen thinks she can keep secrets from me! That's adorable, buddy. I'll admit it, she's at least a few steps ahead, but you know I like a challenge almost as much as I like winning. We'll be the greatest rivalry of all time yet.
Urhg, he got away from me and took Mycel with him. I guess I had no real reason to hold onto him as long as I did, but I still hate to be outdone. I doubt he'll get too far in my way in death, seeing as his new priority is protecting his daughter.
Hrmph. Everywhere ye go with cats, there's gonna be one of them that's the boss, but Lichenstar brings that to a whole new level. Wouldn't'h've guessed it when I first saw her, a green warrior, but it's been a while, n she's been gettin' her nose into everything now.
Uncle, doesn't know him. Dad said that my mom was doing research in a two-leg facility. Who's ever heard of such a thing? She was probably just some sort of fucked up kittypet that they had there. Then they threw her out because she sucks.
Niece through his sister, Horizondust. Doesn't know her.
"Apprentice." Longshadows very clearly is aware of how deep he is in this, but really... that means he should know that it is better on my good side. We are keeping his family safe too, after all, and he can not abandon his own guilt.
"She's taught me more than I ought to know... but it's too late to turn back now. Starclan, forgive me."
Grandfather. He was an important piece in the mystery... I kept him safe in my territory for a long time, figured there might be something to leverage him for, but the artifact was not on the table since Palsa believed someone would get him.
Granddaughter.
I started a telepathic link with her, so we shared our every thought up until her death. It was a bit of a hassle dialing back operations, I had to work with a whole team for my little project I was working on... now, I am tuned into the static she's become. It hurts like hell!
She is in my h e a d it is e x c r u c i a t i n g
Deputy. Crowkill doesn't really care about much of anything, but still likes this place the way it is better than what it could be, which is the ideal attitude for deputy. I don't see her taking over for me, but having a deputy passes us as a regular clan.
Leader.
Predecessor. He never had nine lives or much of a semblance of real leadership, but a lot of the older clan cats are pretty used to his party-most-of-the-time schedule... I'm not sure what the meetings were for though, we don't HAVE a food budget.
Successor. Well, she loves being leader so much, I'm glad I let her have a turn! Look at all the fun things we built since she came here! I have so much free time now that I don't have to hold meetings about our food budget.
