Penny

Penny grew up a pretty normal kid in a small town of only a few hundred people. While she never particularly stood out or had any remarkable talents she grew up happy and well loved. She and her husband, George, were childhood sweethearts and got engaged shortly after finishing high school. They moved to the city for his work, but unfortunately shortly after their move Penny was killed in a hit and run accident. After her death, George was inconsolable- he stole a book on necromancy from the forbidden section of the academy and brought her back as a zombie. Unfortunately for him, due to his inexperience the spell was incomplete and she devoured everything except his bones before regaining her senses. Once she realized what she had done she went to The Tailor out of desperation, having heard rumors of his past. He felt sympathy for her and revived George, though due to his mostly-eaten state he could only be revived as a skeleton with no ability to speak.

After he was revived Penny and George's relationship is as strong as ever. Due to his new form George was unable to continue his work at the university, and Penny took a job working at a butcher shop instead. She's quite popular with the people in her neighborhood despite being a zombie and now spends most of her time working or running errands to try and repay The Tailor.

Penny is a sweet, friendly person who gets along easily with others. She enjoys making new friends and is charming enough to befriend even people she seemingly has nothing in common with. She's usually softspoken and prefers to avoid conflicts, but she's not at all a pushover and will stand up for herself or her loved ones without fail if it comes down to it. She's very down to earth and not particularly ambitious- just living a normal happy life is enough for her. While she doesn't have any particularly outstanding talents she works hard and always tries her best.
