Profile
Lives with his divorced father and his brother Angel. He doesn't speak of his mother. Angel works with Racer (aka Sister). Angel is who got Emil his job at age 19. Because of Emil’s astute laziness, he’s never gotten a promotion. Emil has the tendency to yell everything he’s saying without recognizing it. He knows something’s wrong with Paddock’s but he generally doesn't care and is too lazy to seek it out. He knows several people have disappeared after working with Trouble but hasn't put two and two together. He does suspect they got really hurt and is worried about Zhi although he won't speak to it or share these concerns with her.
He’s not evil but does act as sort of a villain for the story. He never treats his charges right by neglecting to clean, exercise, vary their diet, and care for them in other ways. When he becomes Trouble's handler, Trouble goes through a period of high speration anxiety due to Emil's aloof nature
